Sirius moved into Grimmauld Place with plenty of satisfaction and smugness. He finally made Remus admit that the old coot was wrong. Even if Remus looked a bit doubtful, it doesn't matter. His friend will take a while to come around.
He talked to his pup just that morning. The task was so stupid and dangerous. The epitome of a Gryffindor task. And he was proud of Harry for his success even when he was at a disadvantage.
The elf that belonged to his mother was being irritable calling foul names even around the restrictions he has placed.
"Kreacher." He called. His room was one mess, exactly as he had left it. He had to search through all this for the animagi book as it wasn't for sure in the vaults.
"Bad master called for Kreacher?" He popped in.
"Okay, Kreacher, I am done with your crap." Sirius started. "You belong to the Noble House of Black and especially me. Elves belonging to House Black do not bad mouth people and always interact with proper manners. And, remember, my mother is dead, a portrait on the wall, she can't give you clothes. I can."
The elf's eyes widened comically. It started shaking it's head in a no.
"Sorry, Master Sirius, sir." It said.
"Good, clean Regulus' room and the kitchen by Dinner. Kitchen first. Make something edible once you are done." It popped out. he set to task cleaning the room and searching for things at the same time.
He salvaged his childhood album, his journal he hid in his secret compartment in the closet along with a few trinkets in there and the four animagi books he saved in there as well.
He now had all the things, books, he wanted to send to Harry with him. The thoughts if his godson led him to think of everything harry told him. He wasn't dumb. He knew, just on instinct that Harry didn't tell him everything, just almost everything. He understood the sentiment. He did the same while telling James afterall.
"Padfoot, where are you?" Remus called from the kitchen. He didn't even hear when Moony got here. He was so engrossed in his work. He walked down to see him sitting at the table looking in astonishment and awe at Kreacher as he continued to clean the room with vigor and enthusiasm.
"Long story. I have all the books I wanted to give pup. I am meeting him tomorrow to start teaching him."
"Where are you starting?" Remus asked in curiosity.
"Dancing. There is the Yule ball, as a champion, Harry has to open the dance." Sirius answered. "We will go from there."
"Good."
----------
Sirius felt smug, glad and happy when he saw Harry's eyes lit up like stars in the sky when he gave him the books which were close to 500. Harry wouldn't be able to finish them before the end of the year unless by some miracle he stayed awake the whole year. And even then he wasn't so sure. But Harry was a miracle worker and Sirius didn't want to bet anything.
Harry had plenty of reading material and to much to practice as well. He now had close to 1000 books in his library with all the shopping for books he did whenever he could sneak out through the Honey-dukes cellar.
So their tutoring sessions began. Sirius would come to the shack every weekend and Harry would sneak into the hut. They would slave all day with only two breaks for meals for those two days. Sirius would go back once night fell and Harry would sneak back into the castle under his cloak using the map to avoid Snape, Filch, the perfects and just about everyone on patrol. They followed their ritual until the day of the final task when Sirius gave him some valuable advice.

It is short but I've given three chapters at a time and this is the end of Sirius side of the story for a while.
I will be continuing where I left of with harry, after the First task.
