CHAPTER 19

Ramcel and Victoria got married in California at the beginning of Spring  of 2010, infront of their family and friends. It was a perfect day. Everybody was happy for both of them and wished them harmonious marriage. They loved each other and they had their love ones support. What more could they ask for?

Niregaluhan sila ng Mama ni Victoria ng all expense paid trip to Thailand, Japan and Indonesia for their honeymoon. Alam kasi ng Mama ni Vi na gustong-gusto nyang makarating sa mga lugar na iyon not just to sight see but to taste their authentic cuisines.

“Anghang,” napangiwing komento ni Ramcel when she took a fork full of dry Tom Yum in her mouth. “But I like it. Masarap.”

Natawa si Victoria. Nakapwesto sila sa labas ng isang kainan sa Thailand. She’d been dreaming of experiencing Thai streetfoods. They ordered a lot like Tiger Prawn Pad Thai and dry porridge. “Try this. It’s also delicious.” Sinubuan nya ito ng Crab Meat omellette. “Masarap?” Tumango-tango lang si Ramcel dahil punong-puno ang bibig nito. “I couldn’t wait to cook all of these myself.”

“I don’t mind getting fat, as long as I’m the first one to try every single dish you cook,” sabi ni Ramcel while eyeing the dry porridge.

“I can’t believe you are mine forever now.” Hindi mapigilang kiligin ni Victoria habang pinagmamasdan ang wife nya. Wife. Sinong makakapagsabing sila ni Ramcel ang magkakatuluyan? She’s her beautiful karma.

Victoria’s jaw dropped when she heard Ramcel talked to an Osakan Takoyaki guy owner fluently in Japanese. They just had a bowl of Udon and few sticks of Yakitori when they saw a shop selling takoyaki.

“I didn’t know you can speak Japanese,” Victoria whispered while waiting for their order. Ramcel just smiled a little shyly. May mga nadi-discover pa rin syang bago rito like she could play drums. Lalo syang na-inlove rito nang makita itong tumugtog ng drums sa isang bar sa Baguio nung magbakasyon sila with their friends. “What did you tell him?”

“I traded you for a free takoyaki,” biro nito. Sinamaan nya ito ng tingin. “I told him you are a chef. And you’d like to learn how to make takoyaki. Takashi here, agreed.” She motioned to the friendly-faced owner.

“Really?!”

Victoria spent an hour observing how to prepare and make takoyaki while Ramcel translate. She also did the same thing when they went to a restaurant that sold Okonomiyaki. The Osakans loved foods and spent most of their money on them. If Victoria would settle in Japan, she’d pick Osaka- Japan’s kitchen.

“So tell me, when did you learn to speak Japanese?” Victoria asked while sitting on Ramcel’s lap and unbuttoning her button up shirt. They just spent the whole day eating and walking around Osaka but Victoria couldn’t wait to be alone with Ramcel so they decided to go back to the hotel earlier than intended. “Because I find it very sexy,” she whispered seductively and kissed Ramcel’s lips.

Everytime their lips touched, the dormant fire within them automatically ablazed consuming everything including their sanity and surrendering to carnal passion that’s so insatiable they had to do it over and over again.

They spent a week on each country they visited. If they weren’t eating local street foods and visiting tourist spot, they spent their time wandering and walking the streets hand and hand losing themselves in the middle of the crowd. Other times they just stayed in their hotel room reading side by side, snuggling or making love.

“Come back to me, Baby,” Victoria whispered on Ramcel’s ears and gently embraced her from behind. Nakaupo ito sa balcony habang kaharap ang laptop nito. Nasa isang secluded resort sila sa Bali at napapaligirian ng mga puno at halaman ang lugar. It was so serene and Ramcel took advantage of it by writing. “Let’s go swimming.”
