" Annabelle" my father shouted, but his voice was distinct.  But I just kept on running, I went down the elevator, to reach the ground floor.  I heard no thundering footsteps behind me, but I wasn’t taking any chance. I ran as fast as I could, I pushed and shoved a few people out of the way to get to the revolving doors.

As soon as I reached the fresh dewy air, I made a right turn. There were a few cars in the pathway, so I was constantly twisting and turning so I wouldn’t get hit. I wanted to escape my father, but I also wanted to be  alive and not killed by stupid drivers.

“ Hey watch it, girl! Get off the road!”  Constant beeping and yelling reached my ears, but I made it to the other side without a care.

When I look back on this moment, I will know what I did was unorthodox, but I just wanted to run away

I reached the cemetery gates, but I glanced back when I heard someone call out to me.

A twenty something year old man with streaked blond hair, military style came towards me. “ Hey girl, missy you don’t run out into the streets.” he raised his hands to reach out into his pockets for something, but I turned around and pulled on the gates.

The door was jammed and the scraping noise halted the policeman into looking up at me, as he saw what I was doing, he yelled at me to stop and run nearer. In a rush of adrenaline, I grasped the gate’s handle and pulled with all my might.

“Hey! Hey st-sto-stop it! Miss…stop—wait…miss..” His voice got closer but I didn’t listen further, because with a final tug, the cemetery bars loosened and I slipped quickly in .

I ran straight forward into the woods as I heard the policeman’s voice on my heels, so I pumped my legs even harder.

The woods around me, the path I was on, it seemed to go on and on. It had this  never-ending power that I drowned in. The birds fluttered, yet the woods welcomed me in with curious arms.

Power, serenity and safety awashed over me as I kept on running, I never felt so right in the world, I never felt so free!

All my uneasiness disappeared, my sadness.... gone, all my pain and hurt..... all my guilt that existed, I  have forgotten all that.

I didn't care who was left behind me, I just let the woods take me. I closed my eyes in bliss as the wind whipped through my hair.

I didn't know where I was , but I let the wind lead me, I let the woods take me away.

"Sarea, my cherie, why did you leave me?"

A blinding headache assaulted my mind; this made me skitter to a stop. I clutched my hand to my forehead and winced. My heart lurched at the voice in my head.

"Sarea"

I looked around my surroundings and saw no one present. The trees rustled and still, I saw no one wandering around in the area

"Is anyone there? Hey! Is anyone there?"

"Dad, is it you?" Still no one answered. "This isn't funny anymore. I'm pissed off, hey is that you Jacob?"

I saw him along with a few of my school mates come to the church service to give their condolences to the death, but I knew those screwed rich kids came only because their  'regret' at the parting was only due to their parent's feeling bad about my mother. Those rich snobby kids had no sense of perserving the dead in their little greedy minds, or try to offer up some kind of guilt. .

Jacob was the only one who would play such a trick at me; the jerk bastard. He was the prick who think money and looks were the gold. He thought friendships and trust were like trash in society. His exact words were, Who needs friends when you can have everything in this world with money.

I mentally shook my heads at his words.  I knew he was nasty, but this wasn't in his alleyway. Though I wanted to find out who called me out.    And who the hell was Sarea?

The voice still chilled me to the bones, yet it was the good kind. The voice kind of was a deep, melodious voice and warmed my soul a little.

Rubbish! Ha, that's ludicrous, what was I thinking?

The woods seemed more deeper, more quieter. I looked back but all I saw was trees, trees and trees.

Suddenly, I felt my body lurch forward, I fell to the ground, but rolled on to my back.

I felt my body give in to the exhaustion of the few months. I felt too weary. I was too tired of everything.

All my emotions just suddenly overtook me. I was swearing, cursing my life, the fates for taking my mother away. My body shook with all the stress all the pain I had, I wanted be like sleeping beauty, to sleep away for a thousand years to never wake up, not even for a prince. To just be taken away in an endless slumber

As I glanced around the woods, the trees swayed gently to the wind, the wind lightly whistled its tune.

All of a sudden something moved. I sat up quickly, I got up and looked around again.

I was worried of some untamed wild animal coming out. Awareness washed over my mind, How was I suppose to deal with a dangerous animal?

What if it was a tiger? maybe.

Or maybe a even wolf? Do they even come to this part of the world?

The trees rustled, something moved and there stood a figure stood from the bushes.

It was a deer, a beautiful chestnut colored deer, with white dots at the end of it's behind. It was so beautiful. I had a thrill run through me.

I didn't want to chase the deer away beacause, I didn't know how, but I knew it was afraid of me. I stopped mid-step, and the creature stopped.  I took one step, the deer took one back. I always had an infinity with animals.... they called to me.

I didn't really understand the reason why, but I was able to talk and know what animals feel.

I stepped closer to the deer, his mind, or I think it was a male, was confused and afraid. So I said some calming words. He came closer enough that I was able touched his head. I petted him slowly, yet his brown skin was like silk to the touch. As I petted him, something in the back of me growled.

It was menacing. I quickly looked back to find the direction of where the growl came from.

There was nothing around, I looked back and forth, but the trees surrounded us. It felt suffocating and it was as if the forest was trying to trap me. The air around me was turning dangerous.

Knashing teeth came to my periphery.

I flipped my head around to the back of me.  My hair blocking my sight. I flipped my hair away from my eyes. Nothing was there as I turned around as quick as possible to catch the black shadow that swiped through my eyes as quick as inhumane as possible.

But then from the bushes, a black mush leaped right at me, a black mush with razor jaws.
