A voice boomed from the megaphone of one of the armored guards.
"Who are you and why have you come to these secret headquarters?"
"That's none of your business."
"Considering that's our train, I think it is my business."
"To hell with you!"
And Harper shot.
He successfully nailed the talker in the head, killing him, but now they were being fired on from every direction.
Mindy and Campbell had come out from their hiding and were now also firing.
The battle was in the favor of the kids. More and more shots were fired and none of the kids were hit.
"Guys, this is like the scariest, deadliest game of tiny dodgeball I've ever played."
Harper decided there was only one way to defeat the CCIA.
Run them over.
In a blast of anger, confusion and total insaneness, Harper yelled to the two friends "GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!"
And they did as Harper began to bullet the bullet train into the guards.
He went top speed and Darren and Sharon dove backwards as the train crushed man after idiotic man.
Harper rammed the train right through the stone wall with relative ease and more people were murdered, more shots were fired, blood splatted everywhere and walls and windows and machines and tanks were blown away to bits.
Harper noticed a little red button on the control panel as the train came to a stop.
He, without reason or relative consciousness, pushed the button and a voice said:
"Self-destruction mechanism activated. In ten minutes this train will explode."
With all the guards taken care of and the train on a ten-minute trinitrotoluene ticking timer, the three left the train and grabbed Missy and Campbell. Harper didn't even greet or say a thing to either of them as he sent the train into reverse.
The train stopped with ten seconds left on the timer and they left the train and ran. The train explosion happened after ten seconds and a boom was heard as pieces of train, people and rock were blasted everywhere.
The quintet ran all the way to the next stop and they immediately got on the train to Chicago.
The exact moment they were safely on the train, Harper and Mindy were all over each other.
Words that won't be cited here were said as the duo got funny looks. Sharon and Darren looked at them as if they were actually saying to each other what they were saying. Campbell was looking away as common sense told him to.
And in a matter of hours they were back in Chicago.
