You Took My Breath Away

Chapter Eleven

I giggle as he wheels me down the corridor to an elevator. "Where are we going?" I ask, fear shaking in my voice. "Somewhere." He replies, in a sneaky, mysterious voice. The elevator opens and he pushes me in, presses a button, and we start moving. I wave my arms around as if I were on a rollercoaster. I get dizzy, as I do in elevators, but feel better when the elevator stops. "Sorry about that." He smiles, and I reply with a simple, "it's okay." I see the large exit to the hospital, and Isaac walks around in front of me. He kneels down in front of me and holds my hands. "Close your eyes." He says, softly. I shake my head, fear obviously written all over my face because he uses the trust card. He looks at me softly, slightly tilting his head. "Do you trust me?" He says, giving my the puppy eyes. I sigh, smile, and slowly close my eyes. I hear him whisper an excited, "yes!" He wheels me to the door, because I hear it open. I don't know where he takes me, but i'm still holding onto my monitors, and he's still giggling away behind me. After about a minute, he hovers over my shoulder, softly kisses my neck, and whispers in my ear, "open." When i open my eyes, I see a dark sky full of glistening stars, and the shine of the moon. I open my mouth in awe, and look back at Isaac. He's looking down at me, smiling, love deep in his eyes. He wheels me to a beautiful, concrete fountain, that shone in the light of the stars. "After everything you told me tonight, you needed to do something you love. Hopefully your night's a little better." I smile at him, and he leans down and kisses me passionately. I feel his lips on mine, and it's as if the world slowed down. Slowly pulling away, I feel his breath on my cheek. I smile, hold his hand, and we watch the stars for what feels like the whole night.
