I sat impatiently in the cream colored room. A few weeks ago, I had tried out for a part in the up coming Netflix Original- The Umbrella Academy.  The people who ran the show called those of us who tried out up to meet them. Here, we would be informed who made the cast.  So, there I sat, in one of many maroon chairs. They weren't particularly comfortable, though. I ran my fingers softly across the threads of the fabric. They were stiff and tightly pulled together, like the kind a grandma would have in her guest room.

Around half an hour later, Steve Blackman, the director, walked onto the large stage upfront. He fiddled with the microphone a bit before holding it to his lips.
"Hello everybody," people began clapping, "Thank you for coming!"

A wave of anxiety overwhelmed my body.

"As you know, today you will be finding out who made the cast of The Umbrella Academy!" The clapping got louder before suddenly going silent.

"Elliot Page is going to be acting as Vanya Hargreeves,
Tom Hopper is going to be acting as Luther Hargreeves,
Justin H. Min is going to be acting as Ben Hargreeves,
Robert Sheehan as Klaus Hargreeves,
Aidan Gallagher as Number Five,"

He went on like that before getting to the character I had tried out for.

"And last, but definitely not least, (Y/n) (L/n) as Baby Hargreeves," He finished.

No way,
I laughed to myself quietly.
No fucking way.

I would be working with some of the most amazing actors of all time.
Oh my God.

My alarm screeched in my ear, causing me to jolt up. I wasn't used to getting up at five in the morning yet, but I'd have to be soon.

You know why?

I'm now going to be starring in The Umbrella Academy.
The freaking Umbrella Academy.

We wouldn't be starting rehearsals today, we would be getting to know each other. Mainly because most of us had to get pretty intimate with one another, seeing as though we were going to be acting as siblings and some of us as potential love interests.  I chose to make a good first impression by dressing nicely. I went with a light blue and white plaid, button up shirt tucked into a black overall skirt.

Wanting my face to look more put together, I put on a tad bit of blue, glittery eyeshadow to match my top along with winged eyeliner
