CHAPTER 23

LUCAS' POV
We are already at Jeju, now he have to look for the accident spot... It's been around 3 days since it happened, so we hope to find some evidences...
-Joshua: Okay, from where do we start?
-Lucas: I think that you and Taehyun should look for some phisic evidences while I ask people if the know about the accident and if they saw the driver.
-Joshua: Okay good plan. Tell us if you know who's the driver.
-Lucas: I will, don't worry.

We all start working and I ask all the people I see about the accident, it seems that they didn't see anything. I wonder if the boys are doing better...

TZUYU'S POV
We are already in front of Kang's mansion, and I don't feel like going in without telling anyone... Where's the ring bell here?

-Dahyun: I don't know, it's the first time that we are coming here...
-Tzuyu: I didn't come to Lucas' house?
-Chaeyoung: Nope, we always meeted at the park, and hang out...
-Tzuyu: Oh, I see... Then what do we do?
-Man: May I help you ladies?
-Tzuyu: Oh, uhm... We came looking for Lucas. (smiles)

It seems like he's a butler or something similar... He's wearing an uniform and looks serious but actually nice.
-Butler: Im sorry, Mr Lucas is not at home.
-Dahyun: Ow, we are friends... When will he return?
-Butler: I don't know.
-Chaeyoung: What about Joshua and Taehyun? Are they here?
-Butler: They went with Mr Lucas, I'm sorry.
-Tzuyu: Oh no... (sighs)
-Woman: What happens James? Who are you talking with?
-Butler: This girls say that they are Lucas' friends and are looking for him.
-Woman: Can I know your names? I'm Lucas' mother, you can call me Kate. (smiles)
-Dahyun: Nice to meet you, I'm Dahyun.
-Chaeyoung: My name is Chaeyoung...
-Tzuyu: And I'm Tzuyu (smiles)
-Kate: Tzu-yu?
-Dahyun: Uhm, did Lucas talk about her? (smiles)
-Kate: Uhm, I think so... (smiles) Sorry, it's just that the name is really familiar...

Then Lucas really knows me, and he even talked to his parents about me...
-Kate: Do you want to come inside and have a coffee with me? (smiles) They are not home, but who knows when can they return? (smiles)
-Chaeyoung: Thanks, it'll be a pleasure! (smiles)

We go inside the huge mansion and she head us to a really big and beautiful living room... I have never seen something like this before. It's amazing!

-Kate: Please dears, take a seat. James will bring your coffees, do you like them sweet?
-Dahyun: Oh yeah, we all like sweet things a lot... (smiles)
-Kate: Then you'll love James' coffee, he's the best preparing them... (smiles) Well, girls I'll be honest with you three, but it's also headed to the other three that went with you to Jeju Island. (serious)

It scares us, she turned from a smiley and nice woman, into a serious and intimidating one. She seems to be talking about something serious, does it has to do something with my accident?
-Dahyun: You mean... Sana, Momo and Mina?
-Kate: Yeah, that ones... Look I know that you all turned into good friends with Joshua, Taehyun and Lucas. And that it's probably really fun having such rich friends who can invite you to amazing places and so. But that has to end. You all know that Lucas is getting married this Sunday, right?
-All: (nod)
-Kate: He has to broke the relationships with you all, he's going to be a really important header of our company with his big brother Joshua. And they both have to focus on it and their respectives wives, that makes you all a big obstacle for them.
-Chaeyoung: But we are friends, we don't want to bother them or interrupt their business... It's just-
-Kate: That's the point, they don't need friends... (sighs) you are just a distraction for their responsibility. To sump up, I don't want any of you near my sons again. (smiles)
-Dahyun: We can't do such things, what do they think about this?
-Kate: They agree with me, and as I already imagined that you could be kind of stubborn... I prepared this. (smiles and hands an envelope)
-Dahyun: What is this? (confused)
-Kate: It contains 6 millions for each one, and these other ones are for that Mimo or the ones you said before. Make sure it arrives to them. (smiles) Now enjoy the coffee and leave before they return. (gets up from the couch)
-Tzuyu: (throw the envelope to Kate) I won't accept this fishy money, you can't buy such things... I'm not going to stop being friend with them. And you can have the coffee, I'll take one with Lucas.

Then I get up from the couch and Dahyun and Chaeyoung do the same thing as me... We three leave the mansion. Who does she think she is? She can't break a friendship with money, and I want to know Lucas.

LUCAS' POV
Its been like three hours since we started looking for evidences... Joshua didn't tell me anything, so I think that they didn't find anything... Ugh, what are we going to do...
-Man: Are you okay young man? (smiles)
-Lucas: Oh yeah, thanks. I'm just, a little bit stressed... (smiles)
-Man: You shouldn't be stressed at your age, you are young, you should be enjoying life...
-Lucas: I would like to enjoy it, sadly I have a lot of responsibilities... (sighs)
-Man: Don't be negative, how can I help you?
-Lucas: Oh, I was looking for any witness of the accident...
-Man: Are you talking about the accident of some days ago?
-Lucas: Yeah... (sighs)
-Man: My grandson was the one who called the ambulance, were you involved as well?
-Lucas: Your grandson is the one who helped me?! (smiles) I need to see him, I was able to save my friend thanks to him!
-Man: Oh, so you are one of the victims... My grandson told me that the boy was holding the girl crying really hard. Come with me, he lives with me. (smiles) See how you didn't need to be stressed?
-Lucas: Im really glad to meet you sir, I'm really thankful for what you are doing. (smiles)

I tell Joshua that I'm heading to a man's house because his grandson is a witness and helped me when the accident happened. Maybe I'll find the driver in his past. Finally things are starting working!
