Words from the Author: I'll make Q-A sessions between chapters if anyone asks. If you have questions, the characters will answer without giving away the storyline. Have fun!

The two kids, only four years old, played with the bugs they found. The spiky ash blond was laughing and the messy green haired boy was laughing with him. The boys had doctor's appointments that day to the quirk doctor and needed to get home quickly. Izuku already showed signs of a quirk by accidentally hurting some kids with psychic powers, to which he cried to the teacher to since he was good kid. It left Katsuki a little jealous because he hadn't developed his quirk like his best friend.

Izuku's mother wanted to take her son because she found his abilities were different from her own and didn't know if there was more to it. Katsuki's Mother obviously wanted to know if his quirk just isn't as apparent as others or if it'll happen later.

Izuku has his toy action figure of All Might with him. He was extremely excited. Upon arriving, they did a few tests and asked questions. The doctor finally came up with what kind of Quirk Izuku had.
"Your son's quirk is called 'Devil's Influence.' We have tracked it and it allows him a mix of different psychic powers that include some dangerous abilities. From what he's currently shown, he can use telekinesis and telepathy but he'll be able to do far more...well, many people call it villainous but I'm sure your son would never go down that road. He will be able to use abilities like mind control, be able to read minds, erase memories, implant memories, and will be able to see future events like many psychics. That's not all there is but any questions so far?" Ink nodded and said "Do you have any idea how he would be able to activate it? I'm sure he'd appreciate knowing how avoid hurting his friends and peers on accident like with the telekinesis incident." The doctor nodded and replied "Yes, but only for the erasing and implanting. The way to activate erasing is simply letting a green aura go to his hand and touching anywhere on the other's head. Implanting memories is letting Red consume his hand and doing the same as erasing. As for the other three, we have no idea. These, however, are not as dangerous as the ones involving another's memory."

Inko nods and Izuku was still nothing but smiles. "Now, we've pinpointed that he shows signs of being able to use fire, even having the foundations meant for it. Does anyone in family have fire?" Inko nodded and said "Yes, his father." It didn't sound sincere. It sounded rehearsed. "Alright, that would explain it. The boy's flames will be extremely hot and extremely dangerous so if he activates them, he must be careful for the sake of those around him. This is a classic emitter type power so he'll find it quickly. Finally he has a form of empathetic powers that can force people to feel and behave certain ways. It can also let him feel their emotions. This quirk cannot be determined at this time to how it works or how he will activate it. There is one more thing..." the doctor said. Inko nodded for him to go on while Izuku still was grinning while looking at his action figure.

"He will experience some mutations. The one that will stick out will be small, however," the doctor explained. Inko seemed worried "What kind, if you'd kindly elaborate?" The doctor pulled out a chart, more so so Izuku could understand as he too suddenly held interest when he heard mutation. That was a permanent transformation so he wondered what about him could change. What if Katsuki hated it and stop being his friend?

As if Katsuki wouldn't stay friends with this sweet boy with such a strong quirk.

"His sclera here," he pointed to the white part of the eye ball, "will turn black or dark red. We aren't quite sure about the color honestly, but, your son will experience this and a more... odd mutation is rather speak to you without him in the room about. It involves some...more adult concepts that isn't appropriate for him to know about at his age."

He was right. He explained, with Izuku out of the room, that Izuku has a second gender and would be able to give birth. He explained that in some books they'd refer to it as an 'omega'. He explained this might lead to Izuku being attracted to both sexes or just the same sex to which Inko was perfectly alright with. She was raised in a house of four parents.

When Izuku came back in, he was told a few more things about his quirk, mainly for safety reasons. He was extremely happy with himself for having such a unique quirk and couldn't wait to hear what kind of cool quirk his best friend would have! They did promise to be heroes together!

Sadly, not all wishes end happy.

When Katsuki and his mother went to the quirk doctor, he had to break the bad news. Mitsuki had to hold Katsuki back from hitting the doctor. To be honest, she couldn't blame him. She wanted to punch the doctor as well; however, she had more control than her son.
"Um, Doctor, mind explaining in further detail how you're sure my son won't have a quirk?" Mitsuki could still feel her son's anger but ever so slowly it was morphing into sorrow. She knew her son was holding that in because he wasn't the type to cry in front of the public eye. He was a stubborn little brat.
"Yes, you see, here's his X-rays we took. Do you see this bone here?" The doctor pointed the X-rat of Katsuki's foot before continuing "this is an anomaly compared most. In the pinky toe we have evolved to have one less bone but your son has this bone. This, as the science says, is a sign of being quirkless. Many Quirkless individuals are like this." The young woman looked at the two and Katsuki just wouldn't look up at anyone. Mitsuki voices some concerns and the doctor assured her and Mitsuki carried her sulking son home. As soon as they were in the car, the dam broke.

Katsuki cried the whole ride home and Mitsuki comforted him in his room. When his father came home, it was dinner time and Katsuki wouldn't look up from his plate. The man then asked his wife how the appointment went which made Katsuki try eating his food faster. Mitsuki said "He got so upset. He got tested and even had X-rays taken and they found he doesn't have a quirk... KATSUKI YOU'LL CHOKE, EAT SLOWER BRAT!" Katsuki did but still looked at his food in shame. His father rubbed his shoulder, trying to comfort him. He wasn't happy his own son was quirkless, not because of him being quirkless, but because he knew how much having a quirk meant to his son.

The night went quietly until Katsuki, right before bed, shouted "SCREW HAVING A QUIRK! I'M STILL GONNA BE A HERO!" His father started to sweat bullets while his mother wasn't completely against the idea. However, she was gonna push him if he thinks he's going down that path. If he's not gonna get the place as a quirk user then he better get it as being as strong tactical person dang it.
