She went over directly to Ilara's library as usual. She opened the door and was about to greet Ilara but stopped short when she saw her already near the door, seemingly awaiting her arrival.

"Ah! Naera! Thank goodness you're finally here. I have some important news to tell."

She looked at Ilara and found that she seemed to be wearing clothes for a long journey as she was wearing a travelling cloak and a large bag.

"Um, are you going somewhere Ilara?"

"Yes, well as you know, my cousin recently visited yesterday. He brought me some news and needed me to go back home to take care of some family business. Unfortunately, I will be away for a few days because of it and I will need someone to take care of the place for me while I'm gone. Will that be alright?"

She blinked several times as she tried to process the words she just said.

"Uh, you want me to watch over the library?"

"Why, of course! I can't trust anyone better other than you! Remember, this place opens at about 8 in the morning and closes 5 in the afternoon. Also, don't forget to dust the books, arrange them by genre and title, as well as placing the new arrivals in the shelves."

"Ilara, are you ready-"Terlan stopped short when he noticed that Ilara's helper had arrived.

"No, not yet. I still need to get a few things as well as write a few notes. Some of the new arrivals are special summoning and spells books. They require specific handling and instructions so I will need to leave a few notes. I also haven't packed a few things yet. I will take a few moments, so why don't you...wait here and keep each other company while I do things, alright?" Before she left, she secretly winked at Terlan. He merely rolled her eyes at her as she did.

She left and it was just the two of them standing near the doorway of the library near the circulation desk. An almost awkward atmosphere befell them both.

"Oh, I've almost forgot to ask before but, how been well since you've started working for my cousin?" He asked as he gave her a polite smile.

"Yes, I've been helping her for quite a while now, and Ilara has been nothing but kind to me." She said as she smiled back at him as well.

"That's good. Do you live near here?"

"Uh, no-I uh, I live inside the wall of Omire." His eyes widened slightly at this information.

"Oh, I see."

The awkward atmosphere befell them once again.

"So, I hear that you're a sorcerer right?"she asked. At last, he seemed to brighten up as she brought this up and he smiled at her a little more when she mentioned this.

"Yes, I am."

"Is it alright if I ask a few questions about your occupation? I've always been curious about sorcery you see."

"Sure, go ahead."

"Alright, so how does magic...work exactly?"

"Good question. You, see magic is all around us. It was already in laid within the very earth and ground in which we walk upon. Many suspect that it was created when the gods and goddesses of Stelera created the earth and inlaid some of their powers into the earth for us to use as well to defend ourselves from the evil released by the dark goddess Ektarva. Those creatures are the dark creatures in which you've commonly heard of. Goblins, trolls, dragons and the like."

"Oh, I see."

"Yes, you can even try and look at it yourself. I'll show you."

"Wh-what? Who? Me? Bu-but sir, with all due respect, I am no sorcerer. I can hardly imagine that a simple Omire resident like me could comprehend even a single spell." He looked at her sadly at her remark as he thought it was quite unfortunate that she didn't even think she could do a even single spell just because of her status.

To be quite honest, this girl had a lot of potential. The first moment he had laid eyes on her, he could already sense her Luminosa Waves.

It was the waves of magic that people are born with in which determines their magical capacity to perform magic. Like, if a person was born to be more energetic, stronger or smarter than others through passing of the genes of a parent.

Such things are sometimes passed on from gene to gene, but it could also be learned and improved through time much like studying or exercising to gain muscles you didn't have. But, of course some people are born already more talented, smarter or physically better than others.

And the same goes with ones Luminosa Waves. There are some people that no matter how much they study or train, can never outmatch those who are already fated to be more talented than them.

But, this girl...she was practically glowing with it. And if what she said was true, that she didn't even learn a single spell throughout her life, it meant that she was already born with that much overflowing Luminosa Waves.
