(Okie I feel bad for writing this...but this is A smut chapter warning! I repeat, smut chapter warning. Feel free to skip it or read it. IDK But xP )

It's after school. Lucas is looking for Dustin and he's gone to ask Max. Mike disappeared and Steve's stayed with me the entire time. He asked me what the hell happened...I didn't tell him. He stayed with me the whole day.

I sit on the steps and Steve sits beside me. He runs his hand through his hair. I look away anxiously, wrapping my arms around myself. I curious thought pops in my head.

"Why do you always hang around me?"

Steve gives me a confused look. "Don't you...I dunno. Wanna fix your relationship with Nancy?"

He sighs and looks down. "I would. But apparently, her and Jonathan left school yesterday early together and..."

He shuts his eyes looking away. "I guess she's already moving on."

"Steve..."

"She didn't love me Y/N. So why would I go back and try to fix it?" He grumbles. He's not angry...just really sad.

I sigh, wrapping my arm around him and resting my head on his shoulder. He tenses slightly.

"I know you're hurting Steve."

"You are too."

"What do you mean?"

"You still didn't tell me whatever you told Mike because he said something about number five and that the person is dead."

I grumble. "Did he say all of it?"

"No. Just that."

I lift my head up and he turns to me. "So...you can come to my place tonight? We'll just talk. Maybe have a couple beers. I have a pool too so that might be fun."

I smirk slightly. "It doesn't sound bad."

He smiles. Why do I have a feeling...he's up to something?

I end up being led by Steve toward his car. I sigh, shaking my shoulders. He turns to me. He opens the passenger seat door just as Billy drives by. He doesn't look at me but he surely seems pissed. Max, looks upset. In a way I've never seen before.

"Y/N?"

Steve snaps his fingers in front of my face and I flinch. He looks down concerned.

"Seriously? You okay Y/N?"

I flash a smile and nod. "Yeah, I'm fine."

I step inside the car and Steve shuts the door before getting in on his side. He drives off and I sit back in the chair. The car ride is a bit silent apart from the slight revving of the car. He finally pulls into his driveway.

I look around now getting a better look at the place. He has chairs outside where the pull is and he has a big house. I didn't get a good look at the place when I was here the first time. But it's so nice.

No parents, big house.

He stops the car and I get out the car, following Steve inside. "Will you invite any friends over or will it be me and you?" I ask him.

He chuckles lightly. "I don't really have any friends to invite over."

"Oh..."

"I mean. I guess I do but I wouldn't call them friends that I trust." He says turning to me.

I look behind me. The pool glimmers brightly, the chairs sit against the side. I don't really feel confident enough to be in a bikini. Well, I do, but you know how it is. A love-hate relationship with my body. Except, I have more of a hate-hate with myself.
