I held onto Jason as we rode to the manor on his motorcycle. I decided that the occasion called for me to be a little fancy, so I wore a yellow with an orange-floral pattern sundress that came to my knees along with a blue jean jacket and sandals. Still no makeup though ( Ciarra knows more about this stuff than me, but I forgot to ask for some advice). It wasn't much but it was the best I could do. At least I got to see the surprised look on Jason's face from seeing me showing some leg for once. He still had some blush on his ears.

The day was bright and warm. Perfect for a barbecue. Once we were at the entrance the manor, a man with a British accent, I'm guessing Alfred, opened gates for us. Well Jason really since he didn't mention me. Still wanting my being here to be a secret.

" So what's the plan." I asked in a hushed tone as we walked to the stairs.

" Ok so everyone's most likely in the back yard or scattered around getting stuff ready. I'm hoping it's the first option."

" Wouldn't the second option be better so you won't have to keep introducing me?"

" In theory. But I doubt either one of us can handle their questions all at once. Seeing them one by one will give us some breathing room."

He then opened the door and we were screwed.

His first guess was the closest. Except everyone was in the front of the manor, holding various pool supplies and plates full of food, instead of the backyard. From the looks of it, everyone except for Duke and Bruce was here.

For 8 excruciating seconds we all just stood and stared at each other.

" Hey guys! This is Alya! She's my soulmate!"

I facepalmed so hard I nearly gave my self a concussion.

Jason. I adore you. But you have literally one braincell right now!!!

The sound of a platter, the one Alfred was holding which was thankfully empty, falling then rang throughout the room.

There was more silence then.....

"Eeeeeeeeeeeee." Dick, well I'm assuming it's him based of off Jason's description, squealed and threw himself at Jason.

" Jaybird! I'm so happy for you!"

" Yeah. Yeah me too but could you uh loosen your grip some."

" Oh right. Sorry." Dick pulled back and turned to me with the same, if not more, excitement. He was about to say something before-

" Thank the heavens!" Alfred cried with glee as he came toward us. " It's an honor to finally meet you. Goodness! I thought this day would never come. Oh, and just look at you! You're more beautiful than I could have imagined." He gushed, talking my hands in his.

" Thanks. It's nice to meet you too." I became bashful from all the compliments. Being stared at by literally everyone in the room didn't help either.

" Goodness, where are my manners,". He stepped back and bowed. " I am Alfred Pennyworth, the humble butler of the Wayne family. It is a pleasure to welcome you to our home."

" She already knows who you are Alfred." Jason chuckled at his formality.

Alfred then stared at Jason skeptically.

" Does she now?"

" Exactly how much does she know Jason?" Asked Tim, now recovering from the previous shock.

Jason shifted nervously on his feet.

" Uhhh....everything..."

" What?!" most of the room yelled at once.
