Do you ever have that one feeling where you're not feeling anything but you actually are? That's kinda how I was feeling the past 3 days.

My feelings were kinda numbed. As if I had suddenly become a robot of my former self. So far we had made it out of Rome but there had been many struggles with some venti and other mythical creatures that roamed the air.

"Soph, you need anything?" Leo said as he knocked on my cabin door.

"I'm fine." I said.

Leo sighed. "No you're not. Can I come in?" He asked. When I didn't reply he cracked the door open slightly. "I have cookies." He said gently.

I slowly turned to him. Must resist the urge to-

"They're chocolate chip."

Oh forget it.

"Cmon in." I sighed. Leo gave me a small knowing smile and sat on the corner of my bed. He handed me one of the cookies which were still warm and gooey.

Thank Olympus for cookies.

"Thanks." I told him as I took a bite. "No problem. Now do you want to talk about your problems?" He asked. I shook my head no. "Sophie..." He groaned.

"Let me grieve through my cookies." I told him sternly. "You're so frustrating." He told me as he took a cookie from the plate. "I try my best." I said sarcastically.

He rolled his eyes, but then looked at me sternly but sincerely. "Sophie we're all worried. But you know they'll make it back. It's Percy and Annabeth for the Gods sakes."

"That's not what I'm afraid of." I muttered.

"Then what is it?"

"I'm afraid for this war! I'm afraid that I'll fail my dad and Percy. This was my chance to prove that I'm an amazing sister and the most powerful demigod in existence and look at what happened. I drop my brother and his girlfriend into Tartarus and my dad is probably so ashamed that he's telling the other gods 'Pfft whaaaat? Nooo that's not my daughter.'"

"You're overreacting. That's not true." He told me.

"Then you don't know my dad." I retorted.

"Yeah but I know you. And you're trying too hard to be perfect. Just go along with everything, kick some butt and everything should be fine." He assured me. I nodded hesitantly and he smiled crookedly. "I'll see you later sweetheart." He told me as he kissed my forehead.

I nodded and he left me in my room with my cookies.

"Yeah. See ya."

It was around oh I don't know, ten minutes later when we were attacked by mountain gods. Giant boulders were being thrown at the Argo, and we were trying our best to keep the ship together.

"Hazel look out!" I screeched. Hazel turned around and ducked just in time to miss another boulder. Jason whipped it back by using the wind, but even I could tell his energy was draining fast. He would need a long nap later.

As a boulder came flying straight at me, I summoned water from my bracelet and whipped it at the the giant rocks. It exploded into pieces which I swept away with another wave.

When we finally made it out of the mountains, we were all exhausted. Jason went to go sleep and the rest of us were now in the living room. I sat cuddled up next to Leo on one of the couches, enjoying the couple of minutes we actually got to spend together.

I wondered what Percy and Annabeth were doing now. Were they okay? Did they find an alliance? Percy had once told me about his friend Bob the giant. Hopefully they were making their way to the Doors of Death right now.

When they got back we would then travel to return the Parthenos. We had until August 1st, and it was now July 6th. Time goes by quickly, and there wasn't any to waste. From there the war.

Oh for the love of Aphrodite the war.

Camp Half-Blood would be under attack by Camp Jupiter, and at the same time, the seven would be fighting the Giants in Greece. Would we really be able to hold up? We barely survived today with all of these monsters and evil spirits after us. How would we ever be able to fight the Giants?

We would need help.

"Soph." Leo said, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Huh?" I asked. Leo chuckled and rolled his eyes. "What's on your mind sweetheart?" He asked, pushing a loose strand of hair from my pony tail back. "Nothing don't worry." I lied.

He nodded but I knew he didn't believe me.

Now for our help during the war...

I think I have something that might help.
