Okay this time, I was sure I was dead. I heard nothing, I felt nothing, I saw nothing. It kinda felt like I was floating on air. Huh, I was not expecting to die this way. I always thought I would make it through the war along with everyone else, and then get married and have kids and die then but I didn't expect it this way.
Suddenly, some feeling returned to my body, starting in my head. I groaned and slowly opened my eyes. I blinked a few times, adjusting to the light, and then slowly stood up.
Everyone was scattered on deck, and I just happened to be the first to gain consciousness I touched the back of my head and winced. "Percy!" I managed to choke out to my unconscious brother a few feet away from me.
I crawled over to him and summoned some water to my hand. I Put it on his forehead. He groaned softly and opened his eyes. He immediately sat up looking around for Annabeth probably.
"Annabeth!!" He yelled as he stood up, leaving me on the ground.
"Yeah Percy I just brought you back to consciousness you're welcome." I muttered to myself. Everyone started to stand up along with me and that's when I froze.
8 demigods supposed to be.
Why were 3 gone?
Leo.
Frank.
Hazel.
Gods of Olympus my luck was awful.
"Leo!" I screamed as I ran to the rail. I was about to jump when Jason pulled me back. "No we have to go look for them." I sobbed as I struggled out of his grasp.
"We will Sophie you need to calm down." Piper charmspoke. Stupid power with magical words.
I went limp in Jason's arms as he continued to hug me tightly. "The ship hasn't moved since we all blacked out and we ended up killing the giant octopus right? So they have to be in the area. Me and Piper will watch from here in the ship while you guys go check out from the sea and air." Annabeth explained.
I managed to nod. Jason finally let me go and I wiped my tears away. Me and Percy did perfect dives into the ocean and then surfaced. I formed a surfboard and controlled the waves so that they would take me around the place.
Me and Percy surfed around for hours, asking sea creatures where they were. Nobody, well, no fish had any idea where they were.
"Sophie let's go back and take a break." Percy suggested as we stood on the water as if it was plain ground. I reluctantly nodded and we surfed back to the boat.
We ate lunch outside, mine consisting of literally of 5 slices of pizza. "I'm hungry don't judge me." I snapped at Percy when I caught him staring. He raised his arms up in surrender and went back to his taco. After waiting and watching most of the day, I was beginning to loose all hope.
That was it. The end of humanity as we knew it. Might as well let Gaea swallow us alive.
As I stood by the rail, watching the sun set, I tugged on my ponytail lightly. I suddenly felt a sudden force ripple through the water nearby. "Did you feel that?" Percy asked.
I nodded and looked at the place where the water was pulsating in a way. Suddenly, a basket. Full of... Brownies? Then,
One
Two
Three demigods. All still alive and safe. I sighed in relief and jumped I to the water.
"You had me worried to death!" I exclaimed as I took Leo in a giant bear hug. He laughed and hugged me back. "Yeah I missed you too."
