A few days later Rose was walking down the corridor, when she bumped into her and stumbled back, dropping her books. "S-sorry." She said, looking up. Standing there was none other then Scorpius Malfoy.
"No, I'm sorry." He said with a kind smile, "I should've been paying attention." She nodded and smiled a little.
"It's fine." She said, as she bent down and started to pick up her books. Scorpius bent down and started to help her. She smiled. "Thanks," she said as he handed her the rest of her books.
He nodded and smiled. "You're welcome." He said.
She smiled and tucked a small strand of her red hair behind her ear. "So I'll see you later maybe?" She questioned, tilting her head a little. He nodded again, smiling.
"Sure." He said. She smiled, then waved and walked off.
Scorpius smiled and started to walk away, when two people ran up behind him. He felt a hand turn him around. Standing there was James and Freddie. "Hey Malfoy, stay away from out cousin." James said.
"I-" Scorpius started.
"No, just stay away from her." Freddie said, "We know who your dad is." He said, then pushed him a little, so he stumbled back. They walked away, down the corridor. Al, who had been watching, ran up to them.
"What was that about?!" He asked them, "He didn't do anything!"
"He was hanging around with Rose." James said simply.
"So?! He didn't do anything to her!"
"I don't care Al, he's a Malfoy."
Al's face was turning red. "That doesn't mean anything!" He yells.
"He's also a Slytherin." Freddie said.
Al took a deep breath. "That doesn't mean he shouldn't hang around with Rose." He said.
"Yes, it does Al." James said, "For one, he's a slytherin, and if that's not enough, he's also a Malfoy!" He continued, and before Al could say anything, they walked away. Al sighed, then looked back where Scorpius was, but he was already gone. He looked back to where Freddie and James were, then rolled his eyes and sighed, then started walking back to the Gryffindor common room.
When he made it back to the common room, he saw Rose sitting there smiling.
"Hey," she said as she saw him.
"Hey.."
"What's wrong?" She asked, tilting her head a little.
"Oh nothing.." He replied, thinking of Scorpius. She nodded a little.
"You sure?"
He nodded. "Yeah," he said.
She nodded. "Okay," she said. "Well, I'll see you later. I'm going to go to the library."
"Okay, bye." He said, as she waved and walked away.
She reached the library, and walking in, smiling. She got a book she was planning on getting, that her mum had told her about. 'Hogwarts, A History.' She sat down at a table, and began reading.
After a little bit, she looked up, and saw Scorpius sitting at a nearby table. She smiled, and stood, then walked over to the table. "Hey," she said.
He looked up, startled a little. "H-hey."
She smiled a little, "You okay?"
He nodded slightly. "Um yeah.." He responded.
"Wanna talk a little?" She asked, tilting her head.
"I would.. But I have something to get to." He said, then stood. She nodded a little, as she watched him walk out.
She sighed slightly, feeling a little hurt. She gathered up her things, and started walking back to the common room.
"Hey." James said, who was sitting in there, as she walked in.
"Hey.." She muttered.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing.."
He raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure? You're not acting like yourself, Rose."
She nodded a little, "Yeah I'm sure." She said, and before he could saw anything else, walked up to her dorm.
