Soon enough, it was Halloween. Rose walked over to the Gryffindor table, glancing over at the Slytherin table. She raised an eyebrow when she saw Scorpius wasn't there.
"What's wrong?" Roxy asked, looking over at her.
"Um nothing.." She said, standing. "I'll be right back." She said. Roxy nodded a little, and then Rose walked out of the great hall.

She walked down the corridors, looking around.
After walking a while, finally ready to give up, she heard something. She turned and looked around.
Sitting on the floor, back against the wall, was Scorpius. He had his head in his hands, his blond hair falling loosely over his face. She went over to him, and crouched down. "What's wrong?" She asked.
He looked up at her, his eyes red from crying. "Rose.." He muttered, like he was surprised to see her. "I-I'm sorry.." He choked out, before more tears slid down his cheeks.
She reached over and wiped away his tears. "Sorry about what?" She asked softly. "What happened?"
"It's nothing.." He said, wiping away the rest of his tears with the sleeve of his robe. He started to stand. "I should go.."
She took his hand, stopping him. He seemed to blush a little as their hands touched, but quickly stopped. "No, you're going to stay here and tell me what happened." She said. He sighed.
"Just a few kids bothering me.." He muttered, tears reappearing in his eyes.
"What do you mean? Who?"
He looked down at his feet. "Your cousins.." He muttered in a low voice. "T-they told me to stay away from you... They said that I was a n-no good pure blood.." He said, his voice shaking.
Her eyes widened, anger suddenly filling her, directed towards her cousins. "Which ones?" She asked softly, holding his hand in hers, not letting her anger show.
"J-James and Freddie..." He said. "They told me to stay away from you, that's why I didn't talk to you for so long.."
"Oh Scorp.." She muttered, hugging him tightly. "Never listen to my cousins, no matter what they say to you." She said.
He nodded slightly. "T-they threatened to jinx me if I tried to talk to you.." He muttered. She nodded a little. "Everyone hates me.." He said. "Gryffindors, Ravenclaws, and Hufflepuffs all hate me because I'm a Malfoy... And Slytherins hate me because of my dad.." He said, tears in his eyes.
She hugged him again. "I don't hate you Scorp. I never will." She said. He smiled lightly.
"Thanks Rose." He said. She smiled.
"You're welcome." She replied.

Just then, Al and Roxy ran over. "Rose, what happened? Where have you been?" Al asked.
Rose looked over at the two of them. "Both of your idiot brothers, that's what happened." She said, holding Scorpius's hand. Both of their eyebrows raised.
"What do you mean?" Al asked.
"What did those two do this time?" Roxy then asked.
After she explained the whole story, Al clenched his fists, then looked at Scorpius.
"Scorp, if they ever bother you again, and I mean ever, just tell me." He said. Scorpius nodded and smiled lightly.
"We should get going back to the great hall." Roxy said. The three others nodded.
Rose turned to Scorpius, then hugged him one more time. "Bye Scorp, I'll see you later." She said, smiling. He nodded and smiled. Afterwards, the four walked down the corridors, to the great hall.
