"Elijah, do we have to leave?" Violet asks while packing her suitcase.
They've been in Rome a little over a week and Violet really doesn't want to leave.
"Yes." Elijah says and helps her pack her clothes and stuff like that. He picks up the taped black bag that Rebekah gave her. "What's this?" Elijah asks and starts to undo the tape.
Violet snatches it away from him, "Rebekah gave it to me and she said you're not allowed to see whatever is in here." Violet explains while looking at the bag. She stuffs it into the suitcase.
"Jeremy's calling." Elijah tells her while handing Violet her phone. She smiles at him and takes the phone.
"Hello? Is everything okay, Jeremy?" Violet asks and sits down on the bed.
"Yeah, everything's fine. How's Italy?" Jeremy asks.
"Great but we're leaving Rome today and Elijah won't tell me where we're going." Violet complains and playfully glares at Elijah. She hears Jeremy laugh and she smiles. "I miss you."
"I miss you too and I guess I'm happy" Jeremy tells her and her smile grows.
"I'm glad your happy, Jer." Violet says, "I gotta go. Love you."
"Love you too." Jeremy says and ends the call.
The two of them grab their belongings and make their way to the elevator. They check out and get into the rental car.
"Finally." Violet mutters as they get off the train. She hasn't realized where they are yet. "That train ride was TOO long."
Elijah chuckles and intertwines their fingers together. "It'll be worth it." He promises.
"Sure." She says sarcastically then realizes where they are. "We're in Venice!" She exclaims, a grin spreading across her face.
"This hotel room is better than the one in Rome." Violet says and sets down her suitcase on the couch.
