Whoever was impersonating Marina Moriarty toppled to the ground, her arms and legs bound together tightly.
James, Lily, Sirius, Em, and Marlene all ran into the empty interrogation room, their wands out, shocked expressions on their faces to see me.
"Revelio."
Slowly, Marina Moriarty's face washed away, and the impersonator's real face replaced it.
"Ah, dear Dellie Travers. Where's your brother, hm? Can't save you now, can he?" I taunted, bending down to her face.
She struggled against the tight bonds, but of course, it was no use. In fact, they only made the ropes hug her tighter.
She scowled at us hatefully as she snarled, "You'll never win the war. The Dark Lord will rule. You can torture me and kill me, but it'll be no use. You will all perish in the end."
"Really? Because I don't know about you, but we're all alive right now. But you? I'm afraid you won't make it," I sighed with fake sympathy.
Dellie snarled and spat in my face, unable to do anything else.
I calmly brushed her germs off. "Alright, that's enough out of you, Travers. Where's the real Moriarty?" I snapped, stretching up.
"I'll never tell you."
We all pointed our wands at her at the same time, making her panic.
"Alright, alright! She's dead. I killed her under the Dark Lord's orders and took this position in the Ministry and pretended to be her," Travers confessed, not wanting to be blasted to hits by all of us. "Would you let me go?"
"Oh, Dellie. You're so naïve. Do you really think we'd let you run off when you already know all of this? Don't be a fool. But hey, I'll send Dolson your best before I kill him. At least you'll be able to rot in hell together," I hissed coldly, pointing my wand at her head.
Lily, Marlene, Em, and even James adverted their eyes. Sirius stared blankly as I whispered, "Avada Kedavra."
Travers' body went limp.
"I guess I've killed eighteen people now," I spat with contempt, tucking my wand into my sleeve.
"Hold on, how do we know it's you?" Sirius said cautiously. I didn't blame him. We had just caught Travers pretending to be Moriarty.
They tried Revelio on me, and nothing happened. Then, in true muggle fashion, Lily asked me a question.
"What happened between you and Marina Moriarty?"
Even then, my face heated up in anger and an ugly scowl crossed my face.
Quietly, I murmured into her ear, "She knew that I had utterly and desperately fallen for Nicole Perez and was about to confess that to her, but she asked her out. I then turned our entire friend group against her and she became very hurt and angry."
Lily nodded her head in confirmation that I was me.
"Oh my God, I missed you," Lily beamed, tears brimming her eyes as she pulled me into a bone-crushing hug.
Marlene did the same, nearly disintegrating the bones that Lily broke.
As I turned to Em, she sent a neat whack over my head.
"What the bloody hell was that for, disappearing for a year? I was worried sick. Do you know how much precious sleep I lost? We almost thought you were dead," she snapped, squeezing the life and soul out of me.
I expected a nice pat on the back from James, but he squeezed me so tightly he rivalled Em's hug. When we pulled apart, his eyes were just a tad misty.
