Chapter 4: The Eye of God

     Yanuko looks at Katsuko with a worried expression and Katsuko asks "Matsuno what is the Eye of God?" Matsuno replies "for you to be the number one agent of GAKO here in japan it seems almost impossible that you don't know any detail about it, well have you ever wonder where the most dangerous kagunes and the most top-secret items and documents in japan are stored? If your answer is the Eye of God government facility you are correct." Katsuko didn't most though about the place and asked "so what's the plan to infiltrate in that place"

   Matsuno pointed at the wall behind Katsuko and Yanuko and says "that's the plan for the infiltration and successful extraction of your father necklace." in the wall there was a map of the place from the inside to the outside every single detail possible that map contained it.

   Katsuko asks Matsuno "but why is Yanuko so scare about that place?" and Matsuno replied "we had to make a small sacrifice to get that map, Yanuko and Nagashi infiltrated in the facility but something went wrong and Nagashi lost control of herself. Almost killing Yanuko in the end" Katsuko replied, "what do you mean with lost control of herself." 

   Nagashi enters the room and Matsuno says "wow Nagashi you got a perfect timing" Nagashi confusedly replies "Why dad?" Matsuno replies "let's explain and maybe give a demonstration to Katsuko of what's a Megune!  if it is fine with you?" Nagashi replies "it's fine with me I've learned to control this form" Matsuno replies "so let's give the kitty a ride."

   Everybody went far into the forest to a place that seemed like ancient ruins "Katsuko this is the remains of the first kagune civilization that established in this place" Katsuko took a pretty quick look to the place as Nagashi was stretching with the help of Yanuko.

   "Yanuko enough, give her some space for the main act now," Matsuno said and Nagashi whispered to Yanuko "I will be fine I promise you" Nagashi took off her choker necklace and handed it to Yanuko who ran behind Katsuko to feel safer.

   "Okay let's begin the show," Nagashi said as an incandescent orange aura started to emanate out of her body. "Katsu I present you Nagashi's Megune or her spirit animal," Matsuno said as he pointed towards Nagashi. After a huge orange ball of light appeared and dissipate into the air a big gray cat with a huge orange aura coming from head to tail like fire.

     Nagashi started running around and knocking down a few trees until she stopped in front of Katsuko and Matsuno, Yanuko was behind Katsuko holding him tightly because of the bad memories that this version of Nagashi brought her.

   Nagashi goes back to her normal human form "see Yanuko nothing to worry about" Yanuko opened her eyes and saw Nagashi standing in front of her "take this Nagashi put it on please" Yanuko said as she handed the choker necklace Nagashi.

   "So Katsu what do you think about this?" Matsuno asked Katsuko and he replied, "is she the only one that can do that?" Matsuno replied with a smile on his face "every kagune can transform into their Megune form, but they have to learn how to control it"

   "So what's my Megune, how do I know that and Yanuko and yours" Katsuko excitedly asked Matsuno and he replied "after we take care of the Eye of God I will make you two the prove to see what animal you are" Katsuko and Yanuko agreed on taking the prove after they come back. After that everyone returned to their normal schedule. 

Three days of constant practice passed for Katskko and everyone else that was going to assist on that day. As the evening arrives Katsuko was still practicing with his swords. Yanuko interrupts his train and says "hey Katsu still training? have you taken a break?" Katsuko looks at her and replied, "yes just for a few minutes but I've taken breaks that's what matters right?" Yanuko stands up in front of him in the middle of his swords and said: "Katsuko I want you to have dinner with us tonight" Katsuko dug his swords in the ground and answered "okay and by the way who do you mean by us?" Yanuko answers Katsuko "my bad I haven't told you that Nagashi and I are roommates" Katsuko replies with a smile on his face "okay Yanu I will be there at 7 I will go take a shower because I really stink" Yanuko smiled back with the happiest look on her face "I will be waiting for you Katsu. Till later"
