Chapter Two ⇒ Flirting
Michael was a lot more excited to go to school the next day then he should've been. His day at CDCI East was absolute shit. He got shoved into lockers, his books knocked out of his hands, teased and had an all around terrible day. But seeing Luke would be the highlight of his morning.
He was jittery when the bus pulled up in front of him and the door opened. There Luke was, sitting in his bus driver seat. His hair looked slightly messier today and he was taking the opportunity of being stopped to sip some of his coffee.
Michael started thinking about how cute Luke would be when he woke up; sleepy and cuddly and all he'd want was his coffee. He shook his head to rid of the thoughts and climbed onto the bus, taking the seat in the front again.
"Good morning." Michael spoke up, setting his backpack at his feet and sitting on the edge of his seat to be closer to Luke.
Luke smiled and Michael saw him through the mirror, making him smile also. "Morning, Michael." He mumbled. His morning voice was very deep and it was undeniably sexy.
Michael leaned back in his seat, trying to think of a way to make conversation. "Did you have a nice day yesterday? Like, after you were finished bus driving." He asked, watching Luke's face through the mirror.
The little smile on Luke face made Michael's heart warm. It was like no one was ever this willing to talk to Luke. "I did, yeah. What about you?" He asked back.
"Good. I went to this place that's a cross between an arcade and a bowling alley with my puppy Federer. I think it's called Ned's." Michael explained, picking at the strings on his ripped jeans. "It has a lot of fun games, considering it's a place made for little kids."
"I've taken my niece there before." Luke commented, warmly smiling at Michael through the mirror.
Michael pulled his sweater sleeves over his hands and bit his lip gently. An awkward silence fell over the two and Michael found it absolutely unbearable. He needed to find a way to speak to Luke. "Do you have a girlfriend?" He blurted out.
Michael could see Luke's cheeks turn red through the mirror. "No." Luke answered, readjusting his sitting position in the bus driving chair.
"Boyfriend?"
Luke seemed to get more flustered, squirming awkwardly in his chair. "No." He said again, his teeth tugging on his lip ring.
"What's your sexual orientation?" Michael pushed, scooting closer to the edge of the seat. He felt a satisfactory feeling at house flustered and vulnerable he was making Luke.
"That's a bit of a personal question." Luke shot back, clearing his throat afterwards because he didn't mean to be so loud and blunt.
A smug smirk grew upon Michael's lips. "I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours." He offered, watching Luke carefully. "I'm gay. 100% homosexual."
Luke let out a small, childish huff. He felt obligated to tell Michael now because it would be rude refusing to say right after Michael had said. "Bisexual." Luke answered, his hands tightening around the steering wheel as a small sense of hope grew in Michael's stomach.
The bus stopped at a red light and Luke took a sip of his coffee and Michael watched carefully as his little, pretty, pink lips wrapped around the rim of the coffee cup.
They began driving again, turning on a dirt path that led to where they would pick up the next people. Michael was running out of time. He needed to do something and quick.
He stood up and Luke's eyes widened slightly. "Sit back down, Michael." He demanded, not letting his eyes leave the road.
Michael walked over to Luke, running his hand up and down his arm. He could feel the goosebumps he was causing to raise and it made his smirk grow wider.
"Pull over for a bit?" Michael suggested, in the most seductive voice he could manage. His fingers traveled to Luke's hip and he had to bend down a little so he wasn't awkwardly reaching down.
Millions of thoughts were running through Luke's mind about how wrong this was but Michael was so attractive and he couldn't help himself. He pulled over on the side of the road and Michael took no time to take off Luke's seat belt.
Michael slipped onto Luke's lap and stared down at the pretty blonde boy underneath of him. "You have the most gorgeous eyes, has anyone ever told you that?" He asked, his voice slightly hushed as if someone would hear him.
Luke shook his head and Michael's lips pouted lightly. "Well, I'll tell you it everyday." He hummed, the smile growing back on his lips and he leaned closer to his merely speechless bus driver. "You said your bisexual, but have you ever kissed a guy before?"
Michael smirked when Luke shook his head no, his cheeks the equivalent colour of a tomato. "I'm honoured that you saved this moment for me, then." He whispered, ghosting his lips over Luke's for a short amount of time before pushing his plump lips against Luke's little ones.
He had expected what was coming, so Luke kissed back, almost immediately slipping his hand onto the back of Michael's neck to push him closer. Michael hands found their own ways down to Luke's hips, gripping them tight enough to squeeze out a small noise from Luke.
They made out for what seemed like was forever, but it was only a good ten minutes. Michael was the first to pull away, his swollen lips gasping for air. Luke's face wore a sloppy smile and he looked up at Michael, completely dazed with bliss.
"You have to pick up the other kids." Michael pointed out, a small giggle bubbling from his lips as he was about to crawl off of Luke's lap but the pretty blonde boy grabbed his waist.
"Can this be a daily thing?" He asked happily, giving Michael a cheesy grin. "I'll come pick you up a couple minutes earlier so we can have more time to make out."
Michael smirked and leaned in, pecking Luke's lips softly again.
"I wouldn't want it any other way."
