Once they all made it to the St. James family house, Coco ranged the doorbell. "Coming." Rita's voice was heard through the door before it opened. "Hi, there." She said, smiling.
"Hi there, my name is Kira Rivers, this is my daughter Zoey and my mother and sister-in law Sylvia and Colette. And we're your new neighbors." Kira said, smiling as Nana, Coco, Zoey all smiled along while holding the plant and box of cupcakes.
"You may call me Nana. I'm so used to everyone and my granddaughter calling me that." Nana said, smiling.
"Please, darling you may call me, Coco. No need for formal greeting, I love your pants by the way." Coco replied smiling.
"Why thank you, welcome to the neighborhood, it's nice to meet you all. I'm Rita Malone-St. James." Rita said, smiling. "Come on in and make yourselves comfy." She said, as Kira, Zoey, Nana, and Coco all walked into the house and came into the living room to sit down on the little couch.
Once Roddy saw them walking into the living room with his wife, he immediately guessed that they were the new neighbors that lived next door.
"Hello, there." Roddy said, smiling and waving to them before Rachel, Rodney, Denny, and Robin all came downstairs and into the living room.
"We also brought cupcakes and one of our traditional welcoming plants from our home realm." Nana said, smiling,
As Roddy and Rita both raised an eyebrow."I'm sorry, realm did you say?" Roddy asked.
Leaving Kira and Zoey embarrassed as Coco quickly nudged her mother to help her realize that she had accidentally slipped up. "Uh..what she means is..our home region, you know us New York City rats, am I right?" Coco replied while smiling nervously as Kira, Zoey, and Nana quickly agreed.
"Oh! Yes, of course, our home region, my mistake." Nana replied nervously.
"Right..anyway it's a lovely plant." Roddy said, taking the plant and placed it on the coffee table before sitting down next to his wife.
"I'll say, I don't think I've ever seen a plant like this before. What's it called?" Rita asked, looking at the crystal flower.
"It's a crystal lily. Back home, we would welcome guests with them, in fact they're so rare that they bloom every 100 years and once they've bloomed they become crystalized; lasting for a lifetime!" Coco said, smiling leaving Roddy, Rita, Rachel, Rodney, Denny, and Robin surprised but also confused.
As Kira and Zoey both looked extremely nervous at everyone, hoping and praying that nothing goes wrong.
"Awesome! Can it do anything cool? Like magic?" Robin asked, eagerly.
Nana chuckled. "Unfortunately, they do not. Crystal lilies are made to look nice."
"Aww."
"Hey, Zoey." Rodney said, smiling before giving her a hug as she hugged him back before turning towards Rachel and Denny.
"Zoey, I want you to meet my big sister; Rachel and our friend, Denny. Ray, Denny, I'd like you both to meet our new best friend, Zoey. She just moved here from New York City, last week." Rodney said
"Nice to meet you, Zoey. I like your overalls." Rachel said, smiling as Zoey smiled along
"Thank you, my Aunt Coco made them for me. I like your sweater." Zoey said, smiling as Rachel smiled along
"Thanks, purple is my favorite color." Rachel said
"Oh cool, blue is my favorite color." Zoey said, smiling
"Yellow is my favorite color." Denny said
"Green is my favorite color, Robin likes red and Lauryn likes pink." Rodney said, as Robin nodded
