Chapter 36 | Nate & Asia in Media |

Nate 🦍

"Your babies are healthy, just-

"Excuse me? why you put a s at the end?," I lifted my eyebrow up.

"Your having twins?," The doctor smiled.

Asia face lit up why I shook my head. This shit is outrageous.

"Doc can you give us a minute?," Asia smiled.

"Of course, whenever you're ready to leave just sign out in the front."

"Thank you." Our eyes followed her to the door as it closed

"Baby, what's wrong? You not happy?"

"What of course I am, but two kids? I don't know if I'm up for that."

"Babe, you take care of Kyle like your own. You're ready. I'm not going to pressure you into being ready but, we have friends that can give us advice and help us."

"Your right. Let's go get some stuff for my boys."

"Eh, here we go." She rolled her eyes playfully. I laughed helping her up as we began to leave.

I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth when I knocked over the garage. I scrunched my face up in confusion to what my eyes showed me.

"SKYLAR!"

She ran into the bathroom but stopped in her tracks when she saw what I was holding.

"You're pregnant?," Her face softened as she nodded.

"Why didn't you say something?"

"I was, I just wanted to take everything in." She laughed

"Come here." I smiled

"I want a girl now." She cheesed

"Yeah, I think it's time for a mini Sky."

"Well, we have 3 days left. Let's make it count." She jumped on me kissing my neck.

I and Keisha have been discussing having another baby and she keeps ignoring me.

"Why you're so tense about another child?"

"I'm not, but can we focus on my birthday being in 2 days?,"She smiled sitting on my lap. I cheesed nodding while licking my lips. She intertwined my fingers with hers as she kissed my hand.

"What did you do?"

Her head shot up, "W-What you mean?"

"You only did that when you did or want something. So which one is it?," She blushed as she hopped off me running upstairs. I shook my head wondering what's up with her now. She came downstairs with her phone in her hand.

"It's a pandora ring, you can customize it. I want your name on it."

"You know that takes at least two weeks for it to come right," She gave a saddened smile as she nodded her head.

"What else do you want?"

The smile grew into a smirk, "You."

"I figured. I know not getting any of this sexiness can be a handful."

She puffed, "Whatever helps you sleep at night."

"Have you've talked to your dad?" I looked up seeing thinking about I was going to say. If I should lie or not.

I and my dad got into an argument about the oldest shit ever. About not going into college and how he thinks Keisha was the distraction because before I met her my eyes were so focused on football and going to college to see where I would end up if I went for football.

"Nope." I popped the p

"Well, tomorrow is the day that's going to end. I made reservations for dinner for the four of us."

"Four?"

"Me, you, my mom and your dad," She quickly responded.

I didn't understand... Why wasn't she upset? He basically was saying she's the reason why I'm not where I wanted to be 5 years ago.

"Why are you not upset!"

She laughed, "You think I care about what he said? I'm the best thing that ever happened to you, just like how you are for me."

"Well, I wish he wasn't in my life. All my life he's ignored me and only wanted to put me in high schools and assign me to shit like I'm a piece of material and he's giving out the price tag. What the fuck be wrong with niggas?"

"Don't say that, you can always be mad at another and still miss them."

"How you know?"

"Trust me. I've been there." She laughed.

"Well, now you won't have to. Because I can't live without you."

"Sir, who said I was talking about you?" She laughed

I chuckled nodding as I kissing her face multiple times, "Girl don't play. I know you was talking about me. I'm irreplaceable."

"Plus, nothing can replace the love you have for your parent. Especially when that's all you have left when it comes to memories." She slowly smiled. No one can tell me she's not amazing. She's different, she puts me first. Nothing more I can ask for.

"I'm in the mood for pizza."

"With a side of wings."

"I see I got to school you jive turkeys." We said in unison laughing.

And that's exactly what we did...For the rest of the night, we watched scary movies and ordered pizza with wings.
