Backstory: Steve was born at the VA CLINIC in Superior, Wisconsin, at 4:30 p.m., but his mother sadly passed away due to blood loss. His father raised him, acting in the role of mother as well as father. Steve never really knew his mother apart from what his father told him. He only ever spoke to Reginald over the phone, seeing photos over emails. When he turned 22 years old, having finished college to become a doctor and therapist, his father passed away because of a drunk driver.
Steve didn't let his parents' deaths ruin him. Over the course of four years, he grew to become Superior's best doctor and therapist. He became Harry's primary care. When he first met Harry, he didn't feel any attraction at all but felt concern for him. There was something wrong with Harry, something that no one was doing.
When Reginald came into town, Steve offered him an extra room. When Reginald and Harry met, Steve felt that his cousin finally met someone that would work for him. After he and Noah Carter met, Steve began to hate Noah. After an argument between Reginald and Noah, Harry began to stay with Steve after Reginald moved into his own apartment. Steve helped heal Harry's wounds and talked with him about his trauma.
