Chapter 16

UPDATE:

I have a new book that I will be trying really hard on about all of these people coming today check it out babes.

My walk back to the cabin was cold. It surprised me since it was summer and all. I did not pack anything warm. I rubbed my hands up and down my arms trying to get as much warmth as I could.

"Are you cold?"Alec asks curiously.

"Maybe"I mutter under my breath.

"Do you want my jacket?"he said curiously with a weird smile on his face. It took me a second to see if he was joking or up to something.

"Yes"I mutter. I was shivering what could I say.

"Well that's too bad" he said smirking at me. I couldn't decide whether I wanted to punch the smirk off his face or kiss it.

Or both.

Nah probably the punch one.

I shoved him lightly before running to my cabin because I was about to freeze to death.

"Slow down"he whisper shouted to me

I kept running until he caught me.

"Hey you can't run away slowpoke"

"It's because your tall and you have longer legs" I muttered to him angrily.

He lifted me up and spun me around.

"Don't be a sore loser because I would totally beat you in a race"

"Really now? You wanna go?"

"Let's race"

"To the lake and back"

"Your on"

I ran as fast as I could. At first I was winning. I made it to the lake and I looked back to see him right behind me.

He shoved me into the lake.

"Jerk" I mutter splashing him with water.

He smirked down at me.

"Help me out"I pleaded raising my hand up to him. He grabbed it and I pulled him into the water.

"That's such a basic thing to do"he mumbled when he broke to the surface.

And that's when the flash shone brightly into my eyes.
