Today is Dad and Avril's wedding. I am invited, but I'm begrudgingly part of Avril's wedding party as a bridesmaid. She doesn't want me in her wedding party.

As I get my dress out of the bag and put it on, I realize that my 21 week baby bump is showing a lot.

"Can we let this out some more?" I ask Charlie, my dress person and he nods as he tweaks the dress a little bit, making my bump less obvious.

As I get it zipped up, I get my headband in and Marie, my makeup artist, makes sure my makeup is still good before they let me head to the main area.

I line up with Ryan, who smiles at how beautiful I look. He grips my hand as they play the wedding March, and everyone starts walking forward.

Uncle Mike and Aunt Mandy go first, then Daniel and Eve,
Then Ryan and I, then Robert (Avril's brother) and his girlfriend Macie go last.

The flower girl, Gracelynn, who is Avril's niece goes down the aisle in front of Avril who is wearing a black dress.

I also notice that she doesn't even look 31 weeks pregnant and I begin to think something is up. She should be huge at 31 weeks and she's just as small as she was in December.

After the ceremony, we all head to the reception and I drag Ryan into a corner.

"I don't think Avril is pregnant." I say and he gives me a confused look.

"She's not even showing a little bit like she was carrying the baby in her back." I say and Ryan gets what I am saying and nods.

"Well that's Chad's business to find out, not ours." He says as we head to the dance floor.

As we are getting ready to head out, I see Avril take a glass of champagne and down it.

"You shouldn't be drinking that, it can hurt the baby." I tell her and she laughs.

"What baby? I wasn't ever pregnant, Josephine. I just wanted to make you hurt all those months ago." she says and I look at her with fury in my eyes as everyone in the room looks shocked.

"You are a pathetic bitch. You won't ever be my mother. You can have my father, seeing as the asshole distanced himself from me for a lie." I say as i leave the room and head to the hotel room upstairs.

I walk in the room and take a pair of scissor and cut this ugly dress I spent twenty weeks getting ready for this stupid wedding off me. I curl up into a ball on the bed of the room and sob.

Ryan's POV

"You see how she treats me?" Avril asks Chad, who is still in shock that Avril wasn't pregnant all this time.

"I see. She shouldn't have said that." Chad says and I scoff as I've had enough.

"She shouldn't have been concerned that Avril was going to give your "baby" fetal alcohol syndrome by drinking a flute of champagne? She shouldn't have been upset that this cunt has done nothing but put salt in her wounds all the time? You have sat back for almost a year and let this bitch destroy your daughters self esteem down to nothing Chad! Hell had I not came home back in November when I did, Jo may not have been here today! She had a bottle of pills and was going to take them because she felt like her dad hated her." I say and he looks shocked.

"Well it's not like I married Chad to be a mother figure to his result of a past relationship anyways." Avril says and Mandy slaps her across the face.

"That is my Niece you are talking about you stupid whore. Even if I wasn't married to Mike, Josephine would be my niece because Chelsie was my baby sister. Don't you ever disrespect my niece again." Mandy says to Avril who rubs her cheek as Mike holds Mandy back.

"I think this party is over." Daniel says as he and Eve pick up Ella and Mira and leave, more guests following them.

"I can't believe that my sister is the person she is." Robert says to Avril as he carries a very upset Gracelynn out of the room.

I leave the room and head upstairs to my room and see Jo is sleeping and the dress is in shreds.
