**** yes I realize I'm not following the timeline correctly but my story my rules 😜plus I wanted to add a little more with Clark and Lex in it so I'm using the party scene from Batman vs Superman as a way to do that ****

Lex Luthor not so secretly loves the woman he knows he could never have what he loved just as much was that when he needed a SEXY piece of "arm candy" she was always willing to play the part so he didn't have to rely on those fakes who only wanted him for his money and power but right now he was spending time with his second and third favorite people in the world his best friend's son and daughter Ilamayil and Akakios Napier the "miracle children" of the woman he loves and the man she lost.... after Khalida met Clark Kent she heads to Lex's place once she gets there her children rush over to her and hug her hip Lex walks over to them with a smile on his face he remembers when he told the woman who now stands before him how he feels about her and though she took it well he understood by the time he had told her she was already seeing the man she fell in love with a man that even she was surprised she allowed to touch her and after she lost him he couldn't bring himself to try again especially when she told him what happened after the Bat "got ahold of him" he couldn't imagine what she was going through when the man she loves "came back to life" and forgot she ever existed what was worse was that the children she didn't know she held within her at the time never got to know the man who was to become her husband only his "evil" demented shadow but at least she's still his friend he hopes he never loses her friendship though he's becoming as dark as her ex-fiancée is so he just might so he's going to keep her for as long as he possibly could in the place he's always had her it may not be ALWAYS at his side but what he got from her was enough especially since in a very strange way he became a part of her family by becoming a "uncle" to her twins.... Clark Kent's thoughts kept going back to what the woman he met hours before he saved the woman he loves who he told about what his new friend said after they finished taking a bath together "I like her!"  Lois Lane says once he finishes he chuckles the next day he ends up thinking about the dark skinned beauty once more and not for the reasons you may think he thought about her when he heard the news report about Batman torturing and branding a alleged sex trafficker but the thing that made him smile was that she called him her friend and they had only met once and just when he thought he'd never see her again he finds her standing in front of the statue of his "alter ego" with two 10 year old children at her side "I'm betting it doesn't even look like him!"  he hears her say he chuckles "and I would hope he'd have the decency to cover himself there are children present!"  she adds he bursts out laughing.... hearing laughter come from behind her Khalida turns around and sees a familiar new face smiling at her "Mr. Kent"  she says with a slight bow of her head "I'd like you to meet Ilamayil and Akakios Napier Ama, Kios this is mommy's new friend Clark"  she introduces both children reach their hand out for Clack to shake and he does so with a smile on his face "we may be city folk but I did TRY and teach my kids some manners Mr. Kent"  she says Clark chuckles "I gotta say I'm surprised they didn't turn him into Atlas and have him hold the Earth up in the palm of one hand as it reaches for the sky and tiny people in the other as he looks down at it, though he sure does know how to pose!"  she says as she turns her attention back to the statue Clark bursts out laughing "I hate to say it CK but it truly is a eyesore"  she says he nods with a hum and a smile "the poor man!"  she whispers he looks at her curiously "so.... are you hungry!? we were just about to go get lunch, you're welcome to join us if you like"  she says as she looks over at her new friend "I appreciate the offer but I must head to work"  he replies "of course, it was nice to see you again Mr. Kent"  she says "you too"  he replies she reaches out her hand and he shakes it with a smile then they both go their separate ways he stops when he hears her say "you know there are people who look at him as a hero so there must be people who see him as a villain.... or Vigilante which could be perceived as both which makes you wonder if someone is out there trying to make him look worse than he actually is"  he looks at her curiously as she says before she continues on her way "just a thought though one must wonder why they're doing such a thing"....
