"Kick the damn ball!" I heard Calum shout outside -- he was playing soccer with Ashton, Luke and Michael --. "I'm trying." Ashton whined. I walked towards the balcony and yelled
"Hey boys, can I play?"
"Sure, Vicki!" Calum replied, a big smile spread across his face.
I take some time deciding what to wear, but I end up wearing: a tight luminescent yellow croptop - just underneath my chest - and high-waisted shorts. I didn't really feel nervous about flashing some skin in front of the boys, it's boiling outside, and it's nothing they haven't seen before.
When I get outside I see that they are no longer playing. "Crap, I'm late." I mutter under my breath. They all turn around and notice me standing there looking slightly sad. "Hey Vicki," Ashton cooes "lookin' nice."
I blush, so does Calum.
We stand there in awkward silence, until Luke decides to break it. "Umm... Vicki, why don't you take a seat?" he gestures to the empty chair next to Michael.
"Thanks, Luke." I smile awkwardly.
"So guys, it's your last week here before you leave for tour." I say with a fake smile, inside I am truly sad. These boys are my best friends, I can't last a month without them, yet alone a year.
I sigh, "I'm gonna miss you so much." I say blankly, not wanting to show any emotion.
"We're gonna miss you too!" Michael says.
"Group hug!" Ashton yells as we all adjust so that we can see each other, and hug. I feel tears threaten to fall from my eyes, I let it drop. "Don't cry, Vicki." Calum says sadly. I nod, wiping the tears from my eyes. Luke checks his phone and says
"Guys, it's already twelve 'o clock, we need to get to practice."
"Oh... bye, Vicki." Ashton says quitely.
"Bye, Ash and Luke and Cal." I turn to face Michael. "Bye Michael."
"Bye." They say in harmony.
