Nineteen

A week passes and Destiny has adjusted very well. She realized that time moved differently up here. She’s watched her children grow and both find love. They also help so many more people than she did. They were truly heavenly children.

Micheal has taught her how to fly and heal. He was an amazing teacher. He was also keeping her mind off of her old life. Helping her distance herself from what she was. To being who she had become.

Micheal was in the kitchen making their breakfast when Destiny came swaying in. He was happy its only taken a week for her to adjust to having wings. The first day was interesting with her bumping into everything. He showed her how to fix any she broke and she’s gotten really good.

She came around the island and kissed his cheek. “Smells great.”

He laughed. “Always up here. Everything turns out perfect no matter how long it’s in the pan.”

She giggled as she got their drinks from the fridge. She loved having anything se wanted with a thought. Nothing ever is empty up here. Nothing expires.

They ate breakfast like they have for the past week. Though Micheal seemed to have made her favorite this morning. It didn’t surprise her that he’d do it again, but so soon? He had made it three days ago. She felt like he was celebrating something by making it.

She was about to ask when the front door opened. she tilted her to the side and Micheal just grinned at her. “Go find out who it is.” He encouraged.

Destiny twisted easily out of her seat and walked into the living room. She gasped at who she saw. Tears spilled over her cheeks as she ran over to them. Gab and Balt was standing in the living room and seemed to cry too when they saw her. They couldn’t help but to catch her and hold her tight together.

She couldn’t help but kiss them both all over their faces. The guys were laughing loving how happy she was. They even loved how she looked. Her wings were so perfect for her to them. They each had a hand on her wings.

Micheal leaned against the archway that separated the living room and the foyer. He was happy to tell God that she was ready. That she had adjusted nicely to her new existence. Some people who die and ascend to this state tend to take a long time. The longest he knew of was one that took two months to adjust. Destiny was one of the fastest.

Gab was the first to pulled away and cupped her face. He was smiling so happily. “You look just like we met you but so much happier.”

“You both make me happy.” She glanced between both her men.

Balt brushed her hair back. “Now we have forever.”

Gab laughed. “And here we are both your husbands. You blended with us both and thus we are both yours.”

“And no one else’s.” Balt said with a smirk.

Micheal cleared his throat to get the attention of the trio. “Sorry to interrupt, but I should get going. I’ve got work that needs to be done as my work here is done.”

Destiny detached herself from her guys and went over to hug Micheal. “Thank you.” She pulled back and pointed a finger at him with a semi-stern look. “Now you will come back now and again. You’re still my best friend.”

Micheal chuckled as he hugged her tight. “You better know it. You were my favorite charge to have.”

“I was your first charge.”

“First and only.” Micheal smirked and winked at her. “I don’t think they’ll let me watch over anyone else.”

“Not with how you were in her life!” Balt laughed as he lounged on the couch at home which he was.

Micheal stuck his tongue out at Balt. “That would be one reason. I would be the other. I didn’t like some of the rules that went with being a guardian.”

Destiny giggled. “Yeah. You would find ways around them.”

Micheal chuckled as he leaned over and kissed her cheek. “I’ll see you later. Have fun and show your guys what you’ve learned.” She giggled as Micheal left.

The three reconnect as they chatted in the living room. She even took them outside to show them she could fly. They flew up to the roof of the house and the balcony that was off the attic which Micheal had made into her art studio. There was any supplies she wanted in there.

The guys grabbed her hands when they were on the balcony. They both had devilish grins on their faces as they took her into her studio. They stopped in the middle of the large room where a rug laid.

Gab lifted her chin up and kissed her as Balt started to kiss her shoulder from behind. Balt kissed down to the base of her wings. Gab kissed her passionately. Both telling her how much they have missed her. How they have been waiting for the moment they could be with her again in every sense.

The guys didn’t even stop making love to her in just the attic. The day, they christened every room in the house. They seemed to never be sated. To always want more. She felt the same way. Gab even confessed that this was a fantasy of his every time he came back to heaven.

The last room the three made love in was the master bedroom. There is were their energy finally gave out. Once they were spent, the trio drifted off to sleep bound together. They felt nothing but peace.

Micheal didn’t show back up till the next afternoon. He teased her when he arrived saying that he bet they did it in all the rooms in the house. Balt proudly said that they could do it all over again. Micheal looked shocked that he hit it on the head. The trio just laughed at the look on his face.

Micheal shook out of his shock. “I’ve got some news.”

Gab raised an eyebrow. “Oh?”

Micheal smiled. “Yep. Destiny has a position.”

Balt and Gab smiled at Destiny who sat between them. Destiny felt confused. “I don’t understand.”

Micheal chuckled. “All angels have something they do. Something they are good at. You’re good at giving guidance. You’ll be able to go back to Earth once and a while. But not for a little. You need some training.”

“I’m a guide?”

Micheal nodded. “You’ve guided you children very well.”

Balt hugged Destiny. “He’s right. Daniel and Faith have done great things because of you.”

Gab’s face turned down. “They miss you.”

“I’ve missed holding them, but I know they’re doing beautifully down there.”

Gab smiled. “I know you’ve been watching.” He kissed her temple. “And I’m glad you’ve been watching over them.”

She smiled at him loving his praise. Balt was happy too. Their children have grown so perfect. The trio had watched a little that morning and saw how much a difference in the world Faith and Daniel had made.
