CHASES POV

"I have an idea," I told them " lets all continue being friends with them and hope that maybe they will tell us, Adam you take Percy and Leo, Bree you take Jason and Piper, and I'll take Annabeth and Kaylnn." I explain my plan to them. They all look at me and Leo raises and lowers his eyebrows.
"What!" I exclaim.
"Come'on we all saw that look you gave Kaylnn," Adam says "you like her." He exaggerated the like part.
I gave them the death stare, "Oh come on guys I do not,"they did not look convinced, "seriously we just met them today!"

As the weeks went on we became very good friends. To be honest I would never say it out loud but I did notice I had a crush on Kaylnn. We went on missions every now and then and school was good, like I said we all became closer to the 6. In a few weeks there is going to be a dance and I really want to ask Kaylnn but I just haven't gotten the courage yet. I still have a few weeks though I can build my courage up till then right?
Our missions have been weird though, like on our missions we have had some weird reports of some type of monsters so we go and hunt them down but by the time we get there they are gone. But you could tell there was a battle gold dust could be found every where, scorch marks on the grass and trees, the grass even though it was scorched like it was burned was also wet.
There were so much odd stuff around these battles probably the most weird thing were arrows that had some sort of metal at the end that was glowing with some sort of magic.
Once when we were on a mission exactly like this there was a restle in the trees I went after it but it I couldn't keep up and eventually it was gone.
As time grew on and this became more frequent Bre, Adam, Leo, and I became worried and honestly scared what could be causing this? We kne one thing for sure it was very powerful.

It was Monday and the dance was Friday and i knew I had to ask Kaylnn soon to the dance or someone else was going to steal her we were in school when I'm was about to ask her, I saw she was coming down the hall towards me, looking brave and confident, as she was getting closer I realized her eyes were locked on mine. Ok I do have to say she looked gorgeous like a model going down a runway her curly hair bounced as she came to me her eyes were green and sparkling her lips were pressed into a slight smile.
Anywayyyys... she came up to me and said "ilikeyouwouldyouliketogotothedancewithme" real fast and quick, I barely heard it but I knew what she said and I smiled like the sun just came up.
