2 miles to go

The IMC truck has rolled by twice in the past hour.

Me and Jasper are crouching in the trees.

"We're going to have to go through the woods for now, if they see us on the road they will kill us, or worse capture us." Jasper whispers looking forward.

I wince thinking about the horrible things they could be doing to my brother.

I shake the thought from my mind and follow Jasper through the forest.

"How do you know so much about that place?" I whisper but jasper pushes me along

~~~~~
I cant see the the sky because it's all dark and gray due to the sun set, but i can tell its about to rain because of the smell of the air.
"We have to find that bunker now." Jasper looks up at the sky worried.
I reach in my bag to see if i have an extra rain jacket.
I freeze.
"...n-no!" I stutter
"What?" Jasper grabs my shoulder to see what's in my bag.
It's Carters stuffed bear.
"He left Mr. Snuggles." I break out in tears.
"Um, okay......oh now your crying." I hear Jasper stutter before patting my back awkwardly.
"Uh Clymentine? Can you explain.." Jasper says.
"Sorry." i say wiping my eyes. This is my little brother Carters. He can't sleep with out it."
"I'm Uh sure he's fine."
"Yeah...thanks."
"It's the van again, we gotta move." Jasper puts my bag on my shoulder and drags me through the woods.
Their map says we've arrived but we can't see anything but trees.
"Ahaha here it is." Jasper says pulling leaves away from the bunker door.
"It needs a code." I say frowning.
"Well your dad told you about it for a reason. You got to know the code."
"He didn't say anything about a code."
"What's your moms name?"
"Margret." I say as Jasper punches in the letters.
The light turns red signifying the code was wrong.
C-A-R-T-E-R
Wrong
C-l-Y-M-E-N-T-I -N-E
Wrong
"What could it be." I say under my breath.
C-l-Y-M.
Wrong.
Rain drops splash against the bunker door.
He tries many more combinations without any luck as i zip up my rain jacket.
"DANG IT!" Jasper slams his fist against the control panel.
The light turns green and the door opens.
We rush inside quickly before either of us are touched by the rain.
"It couldn't have been that easy." Jasper says to himself.
The stairs lead down somewhere we can't see.
