What have i done?
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" Eren runs his hands through his hair.
I just said that.
"YOU IDIOT!" Eliana shoves me in the chest again.
If this girl pushes me one more damn time, she's next off this damn bridge.
Like she was supposed to be.
"We have to help her!" Eren says grabbing his bag and climbing the bridge ladder.
"What?! No! She's dead." I answer.
How did i get stuck with these idiots?
But for some reason I'm dumbly following them down the ladder.
We land on a soft patch of grass beside the water.
"We have to go in there and save her." Eliana says looking out in the water with tears on her face.
"What?!? No way you'll drown in there." I state the obvious.
"We're immune!" Eren states
"Yeah but that doesn't mean your immortal." I roll my eyes.
I hear a splash sound and turn towards the water.
Eliana's red hair disappears in the water as she dives in.
"IS SHE FREAKING INSANE!!!" I shout
"They'll be fine." Eren says calmly
"You can't be serious. There both dead. Even though we are immune we don't know what that much exposure to the virus can do."
"HELP!" I hear Eliana says as her now dark red hair bobs to the surface.
Eren reaches us and pulls Eliana out of the water.
Is he stupid?
He just touched her.
She's holding Clym in her arms.
Her thin body is limp and her skin is not its usual coffee color.
Her pink dress clinging to her wet body, her curly hair sticking to her face.
They place Clym on her back on the grass.
"She's not breathing." Eliana says crying
Should i help?
No. Why would i even think that.
I'm here for a reason.
I don't even know what to do.
Eren begins pumping her chest as Eliana pinches her nose and blows air in her mouth.
"Jasper grab her backpack and get the vials 🧪 ." Eren orders me
I pull her bag from her body being mindful not to touch her and search for the vials.
i know they are not in the stuffed bear where she found them.
That's what screwed me up last night.
I unfold her sweatshirt and dig in the pockets.
So that's where they were.
I hand Eren one of the vials and place the other one in the front pocket of her backpack.
Eliana snatches the vial from my hand and opens it.
"What if it kills her?" Eren says worried
"It's the last option." Eliana says injecting the liquid in her arm.
Clym begins to shake frantically.
"Hold her still." Eren says to me.
I dont move.
I see it before they do.
Clym's veins in her arm start trailing black blood up her arms.
Eren and Eliana jump back.
"SHES INFECTED." Eren says.
Clyms body is covered in black streaks and she's still shaking.
"She's not infected. She's a carrier." Eliana stares blank faced. "The vial made her carry the virus."
Clym keeps shaking violently.
"We have to turn her over or she will choke on her own vomit." Eliana reaches for her.
"DONT! If you touch her your get infected. Carriers can affect anyone immune or not, we don't know how exposed we've been because of the water. Eren says grabbing Elianas wrist.
Eliana pushes him of and touches Clym turning her to her side, and she projectile vomits all over Erens shoes.
What's up with this girl and pushing?
Did her doctor dad teach her anything about manners?
Eren kicks off his shoes before vomit seeps into his socks.
"Eliana??? You'll get infected." Clym says regaining consciousness.
"What are friends for?" Eliana smiles.
She's gotta know she will be dead in 48 hours.
