Harry's POV
I knocked on Hagrid's door hoping he was home, it's been a while since I've seen him. "Whose ere" "err... it's Harry" I said a little confused. Why wasn't he just opening the door I asked myself. The heavy door then opened and in the entry way stood my big friendly giant friend, Hagrid "ello arry" Hagrid said as he made motions with his hands signalling for me to come in. "Hi Hagrid" I said as I walked into his little or I spose rather big hut. "What ya doing Hagrid?" I asked as I saw his big pot over the fire "err so promise me ya won't tell anyone about this ok?" I was confused but nodded my head anyway. Hagrid then pulled a quite large egg out of the pot "what is it?" I asked "this Harry is the egg of a Hippogriff.. I found it a few hours ago and after inspecting it I realised that it should've cracked by then.. so I thought I'd give it a little help.. I mean I couldn't just leave it out there to die could I" Hagrid explained. Just as he said that, the egg started cracking. Hagrid quickly put the egg down onto a makeshift nest that was put on the table and we watched in pure curiosity and wonder at the egg hatching. Soon a little beak made a hole in the egg and made an appearance. With a little help the baby Hippogriff came out of the egg and was welcomed into the world.
After Hagrid stopped fangirling over the baby hippogriff we put it outside with Buckbeak so he could grow up and have his first few days with an older hippogriff.
It was beginning to get dark so Hagrid told me to go into the castle before it got too dark. I found a little comfort with the fact that Hagrid still cared about me, if I'm being honest I thought he'd hate me because of all of the people I killed, but thankfully he still cared. Unless he's faking it

So yeahh I updated... after a few months.. with a really short chapter..
But I will try harder to update and write longer chapters
I don't really have a excuse for my absence cause I'm off of holiday, haven't had any major tests I've had to study for and I've only had a few assignments I've had to do.... sooo I was really just being lazy
