"Hello daughter"
Faith gritted her teeth and bawled her fists hard at her sides. She knew she had made a stupid mistake. Getting attached to some mortals and trying to outrun her strict father. The past two months had been a huge mistake.
How stupid could she actually be to think she could ever escape. Suicide was not an option for an immortal being. She had been alive since the beginning and it was starting to get very boring.
She may have been 'alive' but she felt dead. Tired of being expected to be the perfect daughter. She looked up at her fathers menacing face and smiled. Her father didn't show any emotion at all but the atmosphere had thickened and she knew she was getting to him.
"Father, lovely to see you"
She bowed down before him still smiling. Her father looked slightly taken aback. Usually he could strike fear into his daughter with one look but today she was having none of it.
Faith stared at her father, taking in his newly picked vessel. He always picked the same kind of vessel, usually old men with white beards. He enjoyed the human stereotype and often wore white robes and leather sandals. Only a handful of elite angels had seen his true form and she was one of them. The others, if Faith could recall, were Lucifer, Gabriel, Hades, Zachariah and Uriah. His true form was so unbelievably powerful that it could destroy half the human world in less than 5 minutes, hence the vessel.
"What am I going to have to do to you sweetie?"
The way he used that human nickname made Faith go rigid with fear. He said it so emotionlessly and monotone that it almost didn't sound like a question. She answered him anyway, even if it was rhetorical.
"Mmhhhhmm, maybe just maybe you could be a good dad?"
His golden eyes grew wide, she smirked the biggest cockiest smile she could muster. He eyed her suspiciously, almost as though the angel stood in front of him was not the same angel who escaped just two short months ago.
"You think I'm a bad father? Dear faith you haven't even scratched the surface of a bad father. I trusted you, loved you, nurtured you and this stupid petty rebellion is your way of paying me back? I don't understand why you're so ungrateful, there are angels willing to sacrifice themselves to be in your position, but no here you are now talking back to the man who gave you life. Tut tut tut, I really did think better of you Faith"
He shook his head disapprovingly at her before sighing deeply and snapping his vessels frail fingers. Faith screamed as she felt a million hot daggers pierce her skin, her back arched and her knees collapsed as she fell to the ground withering in agony. All she could hear was her fathers laugh as she fell into a blackening unconsciousness.

When she woke she was no longer in the clothes she had worn last night. Instead she had been put into another flowing white gown, her hair was not in the ponytail she had grown accustomed to instead it had been curled and hung loosely at her sides. Her wrists had been strapped into place with a thick rope that burned and scorched her frail bones. She could smell smoke and could taste rust. Her father, if you could even call him that, entered the dungeon-like room a few minutes after she regained consciousness. She was strapped to a metal table in the middle of a grimy, dimly lit room. The faded, stained walls were lined with various weapons and torture devices. All of this was purely designed to strike fear into the prisoners.
"Ahh so you're awake now daughter, it is about time"
"What- what's happening?"
"Dear faith I'm going to teach you a lesson about betrayal and family loyalty. A sin as great as yours deserves a special punishment. So get comfortable and sit tight sweetheart, this is going to hurt."
"Wait- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"He stepped forward and plunged a sharp metallic object through her chest and her ribs, instantly cracking them. He only stopped pushing the knife-like object into her chest when it hit the cold table then as soon as it did he would pull it out and repeatedly push it into different parts of her defeated body. She closed her eyes as tight as possible and bit down on her lip, making it bleed. He picked up another weapon, this object was thinner and more jagged but it seemed to be dripping with some sort of liquid. He ripped off her flimsy nightgown and dragged the acidic blade across her blistering bare skin. Everywhere it touched her, the blade would burn and fry her alabaster skin. The pain intensified as he struck the blade into her already bleeding chest.
The pain became unbearable and finally after hours of torture Faith graciously lost consciousness.
