"You're being serious John?" Lauren asked her excited brother.

"Yes, for the twentieth time, we got back together," He said, fixing his already perfectly fine hair, "Now will you leave me alone? I'm sorry that she didn't want you, but don't ruin this for me okay?"

Lauren sighed, "Whatever."

"And then what happened?" Chase asked, combing his hair.

"I asked if we could end our break! I'm so stupid!" Nadia replied, fixing her makeup for the party, "Lauren's going to hate me now!"

"I don't think she'll hate you," Chase looked over at his cousin, "She probably just won't like you until you apologize."

"What am I supposed to say Chay? Sorry that I got back together with your brother even though I said I'd break up with him?"

"Exactly! Say that!"

"Ugh." Nadia groaned.

"You're an idiot Kenzie," Mandla teased, looking through her closet, "Friends with benefits? That's just a lead up to either disaster or an actual relationship."

Hayden laughed, "You realize friends with benefits doesn't work if there are feelings involved, right?"

"Both of you shut up!" Kenzie snapped, "You're not helping."

Mandla turned around to face Hayden and Kenzie, "Sweetie, all we're trying to say is, is that you need to be prepared for heartache, because friends with benefits NEVER goes well. Someone always ends up getting hurt in the end, or both."

"He's right Kenz, this is gonna be a bumpy ride," Hayden looked over to Mackenzie, placing a hand on her shoulder, "But if the shit hits the fan, I'll be here for you."

"Me too," Mandla smiled, "Now, you already look good, we just need to make you look even better!"

"Come on Lilia! Help me with this!" Brynn begged.

"I honestly don't know what to tell you. But somebody will get hurt. Especially if you keep denying what we all know." Lilia said.

"But I can't, my mom-"

"If it's for Kenzie, you'll find a way," Lilia smiled, "I know you will."

"Mandla, can I talk to you in private, for just a minute?" Hayden asked.

"Sure." The boy shrugged.

They left Kenzie to picking out an outfit and entered an unused guest room.

"I need advice."

"Oh honey I've got a lot of that."

"So, you know about the whole Lauren situation right?"

"Yes. Let me guess, you're going to ask if you should hang out with your boyfriend Johnny, or keep up the act with Lauren?"

"Exactly!"

"Johnny's dating Nadia right?"

"Yes?"

"And Lauren likes her, correct?"

"Yes, why do you ask?"

"Hang out with Lauren. Do whatever you have to do to her. Rub it in Nadia's face, and she'll come to Lauren's rescue no doubt. Then you'll have a lonely and drunk Johnny all to yourself."

"You're devious."

"I know boo. That's how I like it."
