Kenzie sat in her room, trying to wipe the blood off her nose. Maddie would've killed her if she saw what happened. Thank god she was too stupid to check on Kenzie. She sighed, what did it matter? This fight was just like any other one she got involved in. Except this time she got her ass beat. Now she was hurting emotionally and physically.

She heard footsteps coming down the hallway, and assumed it was Maddie, coming back with her girlfriend. Maddie didn't try to rub it in, but she knew Kenzie hated seeing a relationship working out, especially because of her history with relationships.

There was a knock on her door. Maddie never knocked. Who the hell could it be?

"Who is it?" Kenzie called out.

She heard a sigh from the other side of the door, "It's Brynn."

Brynn sank to the floor, leaning up against Kenzie's door, "I just want to talk. You don't even have to see me. So, please talk to me."

Kenzie didn't want to have to deal with Brynn at the moment. But who was she kidding, she had secretly hoped the blonde would show up at some point. So she complied, sitting down and leaning up against her door, "What did you need to talk about?"

"Don't go," Lauren said, holding Nadia from the back, "Not until we fix whatever this is."

Lauren backed up and sat back down on her bed, Nadia following, sitting down next to the shorter girl.

"Where do we start?" Nadia asked.

"Where did it all go wrong Nads? Where?"

"When you started to like me, and when Johnny asked me out."

"Why do we do this to ourselves?"

"What do you mean?"

"We keep hurting each other instead of fixing anything. We're bringing this upon ourselves."

"I'm sorry for kissing you. I just didn't want Johnny to get involved in the situation."

"It's fine. But never apologize for kissing me. That's not what upset me."

"What did?"

"The fact that I've been chasing after you for so long, and only just now realized that maybe I should move on."

Nadia frowned, "What do you mean move on?"

"We both know you don't like me back, so it's time I get over you, find somebody else."

Nadia gulped, what if she didn't want Lauren to move on?

"They do realize that communication solves everything right?" Hayden asked John, who was shoving chips down his throat.

"No. Love makes you crazy dude. You don't even think about rational things when you're in love. And it makes it worse when you've denied it forever."

"Sounds like a mess."

"It has been. But Kenzie and Brynn will probably figure it out once they get their shit together and just bang or something. They're clearly in love."

"But aren't Nadia and Lauren in love too?"

"There's a problem with that."

"What's the problem exactly?"

"Nadia had a really toxic relationship before me. And if I'm being honest, our relationship was one-sided."

"So, is she like, scared to be in a relationship again?"

"Scared to love. The poor girl. And I feel bad because I didn't necessarily help her during that time."

"Johnny, what happened?"

"This is nice." Mandla said, reaching for another pretzel.

"I can't believe our baby is in love!" Maisy said, "Seems like only yesterday she was praising the single life."

"That's our job now though, right?"

"Uhh. No, just your job actually."

"Maisy! Spill! Why not?"

"Well," Maisy smiled, "I met someone."

"Who is she? Spill."

"It's a guy. Bitch? The fuck?"

"Oh honey, I'm sorry, us men suck."

"Aren't you gay though?"

"I said, us men suck. Why do you think I like them?"

"You can be so gross some times Mandla, it's not even funny."

"What's his name?"

"His name's Cayman."
