Ballora's Pov.
It had been a full week since we had returned Bryan to the pizzeria. His condition slowly getting better. Yet his head injury still seemed to be the worst of each injury. Even the stab wounds had healed enough for him to be able to somewhat sit up. Yet, the more days went on, it seemed as if the bite mark was almost the exact same. Not even SpringBonnie knew what to do.
The few times he was awake, we all tried to get him to eat something. Lefty even going as far as to offer to chew up the food for Bryan. Of course we had to stop him. But no matter how much pizza and water we shoved down the business man's throat, his stomach would then reject it about an hour later. It was concerning to say the least. And yet, even through constant bandage changes, and what I could only imagine was unbearable pain, he never complained.
"Come on Bryan! Please just eat one slice!" Lefty begged. Nedd Bear having to be shut off due to over use of his battery. "Lefty I'm just not hungry. Besides, I'll just throw it up later." Molten suddenly dropped from the ceiling, scaring the poor man. "When we found you, we could see your ribs. Before, we couldn't. Now we still can. Just eat the damn food!" The wired animatronic growled, obviously fed up with Bryan. Not that it was his fault.
With a look of nausea, Bryan picked up the slice with barely steady hands. His hands shook so bad Lefty had to take the piece before he dropped it onto the already stained carpet. "Lefty I don't need you to feed me." Bryan pouted. Ignoring his whining, the rockstar animatronic simply held the food to his lips. Bryan's face scrunched up before taking a small bite out of the trignal bread.
It was cute. All of his friends helping whenever needed. I felt a stare on the back of my neck. Slowly turning around, my eyes locked with SpringBonnie. Without saying a word, he walked forward pecking me on the cheek. "He seems to be recovering well." He whispered, wrapping around my torso. Nodding, I buried my metal face into his soft fur. "Yes. But his head injury is still in a critical state. One wrong move and it could open again."
My heart began to ache the longer we stood like this. "When Molten told us what happened, I was so scared. It felt as if I were losing a child all over again." His soft paw stroked my hair comfortingly. "A-and then I saw you there...I didn't know what to do! Bryan was dying, you were shut off, and he was there." I could hear my voice begin to break. A.I. held me closer, letting the stress of the past week just roll off.
"I know it hurts." SpringBonnie whispered. "I know you feel like you can't do anything. That's how I felt the moment I saw Bryan in that cell. But you have to realize, what your doing is helping. A normal doctor wouldn't have been able to heal him as fast as you have." We could hear laughter coming from the main room. "Besides, our little girl seems to be entertaining him well enough."
We peeked into the main room only to see Baby using her stuffed animals to act out a dramatic scene. Her faceplate showing each emotion that the toys were supposed to be portraying. I couldn't help but smile at the group. Bryan starred with big eyes and a huge smile. "Oh no!" He suddenly gasped as one of the plushies seemed to die. It was hilarious how into the story he was. Letting out my own sigh, I pulled away from the golden arms.
Grabbing the gauze on the arcade counter, I made my way into the main room. It was at that moment did I see it. Bryan holding his head, wincing in pain. Blood soaked the bandages that covered his forehead. "Bryan?" Baby asked stopping her movements. "A-are you ok?" This was the first time I had seen him display any sort of pain. I ran up to the man, fear gripping my circuits. He didn't seem to even realize I was there. "Lefty! Bring Bryan to the starlight stage!" I screamed barely touching his head. "I think his stitches opened up!"
