I wake from a loud noise that came from outside, I check the time
3:43 a.m.
'Seven hours of sleep? That's a a surprise' I think to myself.
I checked outside, it was just a raccoon in the trash can again, I sigh in relief to myself and head to the door.
I press my ear against it listening for signs of anyone being awake

...

"Nothing. Good." I open my door sneaking to the kitchen and grabbing some snacks as quietly as I can be, I then sneak back to my room, locking the door then setting the snacks I got down. As I sat them down I notice something on the floor, it seemed it fell out of my backpack. "a game cartridge?" I ask myself then look at the name of it

MAJOR'S MASK

"Oh! That's right, free game" I say to myself then popped the game into into its rightful console. As it loaded up the saved files popped up, there was already a name saved into it

BEN

"Ben?" I said to myself confused "could that have been the guy who dropped it?" I say and just shrugged it off and try deleting the file. But it wouldn't delete, it wouldn't even give me the option to it was like it was stuck on there, oh well I can live with it.

I make another file with my name on it and began playing, it looked innocent and normal at first, me playing as Link and passing by the town's people, but something was off.. It's like the people were frozen in time. It was creepy just seeing them stare at my character as he walked on by, but I was brave enough to keep going. I got to the ocean, it was cool but I noticed something suddenly just appeared beside Link, it was like a creepier statue of him, it kinda just stared at the screen, creepy..

I looked at it.. It was so creepy.. Then an message popped up, it said

HE DROWNED

He drowned? Okay this was getting weird, I saved the file which took a little but cause the game was glitching a lot. I then checked the time
4:01 a.m.
seems like enough time for a nightly walk. I put on my combat boots, a (f/c) hoodie and some dark blue jeans then opened my window quietly and grabbed my phone putting it in my hoodie pocket.
I climbed out onto the roof being careful not to slip, I then hopped down onto the grass, I feel the cool breeze as I begin walking down the sidewalk, hands in my hoodie pockets, it's nice to get away once and a while especially at night time.
So peaceful.
