6) Avenging Angel

Omsk, Russia/ Hydra Base

Athena- Clothed in one of my newest suits, I take on twenty of Hydras best.

Arnim- (Chuckles) Standing in the shadows with a clip board in hand. "She is exceptional."

Glassman- (Hums Agreeingly) "She is gonna be a force to be reckoned with, I feel bad for both our guys and SHEILD. When she leaves here, she'll be playing both sides and it won't end well for anyone who tries to hurt her or her family."

Arnim- (Smirks) "I'm pretty sure the first person on her hit list is Captain America as he screwed everyone over."

Glassman- Athena took out the last of the men. (Winces) "I really don't want to be Steven Grant Rogers, especially right now."

Arnim- (Shakes Head) "Neither do I." A portal suddenly appeared and a man stepped through. (Raises Eyebrow) "Oh this is interesting."

Glassman- "Isn't he that Warlock?"

Arnim- (Nods) "Dr Strange, I believe he goes by."

Athena- Noticing the portal and the familiar man whom steps through. (Squeals Excitedly) I throw myself at him, clinging to him.

Stephen- Startled by the feminine shriek, I quickly fix my footing before we both hit the floor. (Chuckles Softly) Wrapping my arms around the femininely suited female. "It's so good to see you. We've all missed you so very much, especially your son."

Athena- Looking up at him through teary eyes. "You mean they don't think I'm a traitor and a follower of Hydra?" Glancing over at the people who have become friends to me. "No offense."

Arnim and Glassman- Waving it off.

Stephen- I gently wipe the tears from her brown orbs. "They knew something was up when Steve returned with Barnes and not you. Peter banned Captain America from Avengers Tower and they all spoke on the Winter Soldiers behalf, so he's now a free man. We've been looking for you for six months and I'm the one that finally found you, I'm sorry it took so long."

Athena- (Blushes) "It's not your fault, I wasn't exactly making it easy for any of you to find me."

Stephen- (Chuckles Amusedly) Looking the petite brunette up and down. "This is new, what do they call you?" I gesture to the brightly colored feminine suite curious not only in the change, but her new Hero name as well.

Athena- (Smiles Brightly) "They call me the Avenging Angel." Bouncing on my toes excitedly. "Let me show you how my new nano suite works!" Stepping back away from the Warlock, I press my fingers into my palms and suddenly have wings.

Stephen- My eyes widen as I take in the monumental changes to the new suite that Stark has created. "Not only a new color, but new accessories and weapons as well. It is amazing."

Athena- (Smiles Brightly) My wings fold up as I tap my fingers against the arc reactor three times making the suite melt away.

Stephen- Walking up to the petite woman as I rest my hand on her hip. "Now that I found you..." I pause, glancing over at the two scientists wearily. "Do I have to make a deal or fight my way to get you out of here?"

Strucker- Having been standing in the door way for a good twenty minutes now, I speak up startling everyone. "She is free to go."

Stephen- Accidentally tightening my hold on Athena's petite waist as I glare at Hydra's leader. "She is free, just like that?"

Strucker- (Smirks) "Just like that." Glancing down at my most prized possession. "Go and live a happy life, hopefully we won't see each other anytime soon."

Athena- (Giggles) Knowing exactly what he is playing at. "See you daddy." Stephen doesn't bother to question it and I don't bother to elaborate, taking his hand he opens a portal as we walk through.
