"Why couldn't it be you?" Maclin Ludrick asked.

"I don't know," Natasha Simoff answered, approaching close to him, "You are my best friend. And I..,"

"And what?!" he cut her words. "You are not understanding me."

She didn't respond. He fell down on the Grass, crossing Legs, watching her Feet as his Eyes fell on them accidentally. She sat beside him, watching the full Moon which is surrounded by huge grey Clouds before them, she said, "We couldn't be so."

"Just shut up," he said, in a low tone, fixing his eyes on the Moon.

"Why are you so rude?"

"Please."

She turned to him, watching him observing the Sky. They both are sitting alone on the bank of a River. The Fog covered everything behind it and left him in a very small World. A world where he is fighting with his feelings and she is feeling her feelings.

"Do you remember," he said, "you use to count the Stars always and your Sister uses to stop you," keeping his eyes fixed on the Sky.

"Yes," she said, in a smooth tone. "You taught me how to line up all those Stars into different shapes and made me count the dots in those shapes I made. My Sister, as we argued that we are counting the dots in the shapes rather than Stars in the Sky, left us to ourselves in peace after that."

They both simply left a smile together. He is thinking about how to convince her about what he decided and she is figuring how to prove he is all wrong.

A noise of some wind being pushed away suddenly passed through them, making an echo in their Ears for which they held their Ears, tightly. As they stood up and looked around, they found none but just Fog.

"What is that?" she asked

"I am not sure either," he answered, "better if we leave."

"Yes," she said and they both are walking towards the Bridge which is by the bank of the River.

Their Eyes are rolling through every corner around them, watching the Fog floating calmly. She held his hand, tightly. "Natasha," he called softly, stopping for a moment, "whatever it is, it can't be some unexpected scary Alien thing that is anticipated as in some Movies. Don't be scared. All be alright."

She turned to him, watching his smile, "Yeah, you are true."

They both are looking at each other, standing at the edge of the bridge, with her leaning on lampstand by her back. "We shouldn't be doing...," her words stopped as she observed a naked Man walking out of Fog towards them.

"Hello you and me," The Man said, politely.

They both arranged themselves, with their eyes fixed on the Man with a surprise of how and why he is looking exactly like Maclin Ludrick.

"Who are you?" Maclin asked.

"I am you," the Man answered.

"How come you are him?" Natasha questioned.

"Oh, that's interesting. I am here to stop him doing something."

"What is that?" Natasha asked, with little curiosity in his tone.

"Whenever he thinks about Murder or such things and the circumstances add up to let him do it, I come out of nowhere to stop him."

Natasha turned to Maclin, watching his facial expression. He didn't speak any words but she observed he is searching for words to say something.
