Vanessa is looking at the Envelope she took from the postman. Reading the two lines - From Natasha Simoff, is something she likes to do as soon as she got it every time. But now, it is addressed from the college rather than from Natasha.

"Have a good day," The postman said and left.

She walked into the house, reading the from address repeatedly like to check whether she is reading it right. She closed the door, found the knife on the table which is right next to the couch. As she settled on the couch, she opened the envelope with a smooth slice of the knife and pulled out the letter.

Her Mother pushed the door open and said, "The Postman said that Natasha wrote a letter," walking close to Vanessa, she asked, "How is she?"

"Mother," Vanessa said in a dull voice, "it is not from her. It is from her college."

"Oh," her mother looked down, "Why they wrote a letter to us? Never they did, right?"

"They wrote that Natasha had taken a leave one month back for a week but haven't arrived back to campus. If she doesn't submit an appropriate reason with proof within three days, strict action will be taken on her."

"Why she took a leave?" her mother asked.

"To visit Home."

"But she didn't visit us," her mother said, looking at Vanessa.

Vanessa is calm and her mother added, "Let me visit your father in the field and ask him if he knows anything. Nowadays, she is traveling a lot without anyone's notice."

"Okay, mother. I will visit some of my friends and ask whether they know anything."

"Maclin, Maclin..," Jack came running by shouting all the way to Maclin's House. Maclin came out of the home and his friend said, "Do you know, Natasha was missing from a month or so."

"What do you mean by she is missing?" Maclin asked.

"The college sent a letter to their Home that she took leave for a week and still not returned to campus. It has been one month or more since she left college. Vanessa is asking her friends whether they know anything about this."

"I will visit Vanessa now. Where is she now?"

"She is so worried and I think she is in the Church now."

"In the Church?"

"Yes."

--

While Maclin is walking to Church along with his friend Jack, he started remembering what happened between Natasha and him a few weeks back. It has been six weeks since Natasha was seen, he counted. And Michael, there should be a letter sent to his home as well. As Michael is a town guy who belongs to a wealthy family, he thought that their family would have registered a complaint and cops would have started searching for him.

He thought Natasha would have planned to surprise everyone with her sudden visit and that is the reason no one knows why she took a leave. He also remembered, Natasha started traveling to other cities and town with friends from last two years. Often her mother and Natasha had some arguments about it but Natasha didn't care much.

Natasha took a leave six weeks back for a week to travel somewhere. Most probably with her boyfriend. As she wants to surprise everyone, no one knows or has a chance to know that she is coming home. 'Why she wants to come home?' Maclin asked himself.

"What you think about where Natasha would have been now Mac?" Jack asked.

"Wherever she is, I feel she will be good," Maclin said, as they both are walking in a hurry.
