Paytons POV
6 AM Tuesday morning

I sat down picking at my food. "Faith can you go get Chase and Charlotte?" She nodded and got up. Mom kept looking at me and eating until we heard Faith, Chase, and Charlotte laughing.

They all sat down and started to get food. Chase and Charlotte looking at each other and making heart eyes. Chase making her laugh and blush. I couldn't take it anymore.

I pushed my plate away and stood up. "I'm not hungry" I said as I walked to the steps not looking back or caring that mom was calling my name.

I went to my room and locked the door. I walked to my bed and laid down face in my pillow. I felt hot tears go down my face.

I hate seeing her with him. If only she knew what he did a year ago then she wouldn't be with him. If only I told her how I felt then maybe I would be where Chase was.

I heard a knock on my door knowing it was Either Char or Faith I told them to leave. "Payton open the door please." I knew it was Faith by her voice.

"Faith go away I dont want to talk!" I heard her sigh and walk away. I sighed, I know I am worrying everyone but it breaks my heart to see them together.

I was pulled out of thoughts when my phone went off. I looked at it and saw that my ex Katelyn texted me. I sighed and opened it.

Yay meet me at my house, my parents are gone for 3 weeks. We can do whatever we want😏

I know this is a bad idea but I need something to get Char and Chase out of my mind. I went to my closet and grabbed Jean's and a hoodie, also getting a backpack and putting clothes in it.

I went to my bathroom and grabbed my hairbrush, toothbrush, and some other stuff.

I slipped on my shoes and walked downstairs, seeing everyone sitting on the couch laughing. Chase and Charlotte cuddling and Faith and mom on a different couch.

"Payton where are you going?" I looked at her and shrugged. "Why does it matter?" I asked rolling my eyes.

"Payton Jay Moormeier get your ass over here right now!" I rolled my eyes and grabbing the keys to the car. "Payton Moormeier stop right now!"

I once again rolled my eyes and opened the door. "Payton stop!" I looked back and saw Charlotte standing about 4 feet away from me.

"Payton where are you going?" I looked at her and sighed. "I'm going to Katelyns" They all looked shocked.

"Katelyn as in your ex?" I shook my head she shook her head in a disappointing way. "Payton she hurt you why are you going to her again. She hurt me." She looked really hurt.

Katelyn hurt Charlotte, she called her names and told her some not so nice things. She did fight Char and put her into the hospital but Katelyn never got into trouble.

"Char i-it's not like that. I just need to get some stuff off my mind." She shock her head and looked down. "Payton you promised me that you wouldnt go back to her. You said that you blocked her number and that would never talk to her. You lied to me Payton. Best friends don't lie to each other."

She looked up and I saw some tears in her eyes. I looked down feeling guilty. I lied to my best friends more than once. I hurt her, I didn't mean to.

"Char it's not like th-" she cut me off before I could say anything. "Payton I dont wanna hear it, you lied to me more than once. Just go to Katelyn and when she breaks your heart I'm not gonna be here for you."

She looked up and it had tears in her eyes. She turned around and walked to Chase and Faith grabbed them and pulled them upstairs.

I sighed and went to turn around. "Payton stop." I looked at her. "Payton are you really gonna leave and lose your friendship with Char, for a girl that hurt you and her?"

I looked down knowing I was doing something wrong. I hurt my best friend, who has been here forever. I looked up and had tears in my eyes. I fucked up big time.

"I-i dont know." She walked over to me and made me look into her eyes. "Payton listen, Char has ways been there for you. Through the breakup, when you fell and went to the hospital, and when you were just depressed. Or do you wanna go back to the girl who hurt you, your family, and your best friend, dont forget she made you lose some fans from what she said."

"Mom I only wanted to go because I'm jealous because Chase is dating Char and i-i really like her. But I didnt think it would hurt her. I just wanted to get my mind off her and Chase."

I said crying into her chest. She rubbed my back making me feel better. "Shhh it's okay. Why don't you go talk to her and explain to her why you wanted to go to Katelyns"

"Mom what if I ruin my friendship with her. Then I will definitely lose her!" She looked at me and pointed to the room they were in.

I sighed walking to the room and knocking on the door.
