"It's him," Max muttered slowly. Her and Lucas had entered the waiting room where Dustin, Mike, Steve, and I were sitting.

I had just been briefed on everything that happened in this tiny town. The three of them took turns explaining to me about the truth of Will Byer's disappearance, the new girl named Eleven, the demogorgans, Will's return and his subsequent visions and possession, the Mind Flayer, Billy and Max's entrance to town, Billy's turn to the dark side, and his 'death', and even the Byers' (plus Eleven's) move away from Hawkins.

My mind was reeling at the information, but I was still managing to keep it together. "You're sure?" my eyebrows scrunched together at Max's revelation.

She nodded. "I'm pretty sure."

"What do we do?" Steve asked, confused.

"We call in reinforcements," Dustin declared.

"Hi! Mrs. Byers, it's Nancy! How are you?" We all were crammed around the Wheeler's phone as Nancy spoke into it. "Yes, I'm great. We're all doing good. Um, we just wanted to invite you and your family to our house for Thanksgiving. Yes, I know, it's a bit last-minute, but we all just miss you so much! What? Oh, well, yes, of course I miss Jonathan, but I miss you and Will and El, too!" she giggled, probably at a joke Mrs. Byers made about her son. "Oh, that's too bad. Well, at least we'll see everyone else. When can we expect them? Tomorrow night? Perfect! We're all so excited...Bye!"

"What happened?" we all demanded immediately.

Nancy sighed. "Jonathan, Will, and El are coming. Joyce has work. But the three of them will be tomorrow night. You think we'll be okay until then?"

"Well, we don't have a choice, do we?" I muttered.
