Chapter 3
Harpers POV
I kept telling myself that I wasnt going to freak out when I saw B again. I drove my car knowing that Audrey would most likely end up drinking tonight.
When we got to the theatre, Audrey pulled me straight to the merch stand. This girl is completely obsessed. She is going to pop her top when she finds out I knew him and not just knew him but I dated him for five years before he went to Nashville. Audrey bought almost every piece of merch they ha including the meet and greet flag. I bought a "stone cold country" and a regular tour tee shirt.
Since we got to the venue super early, we decided to go change into a BG shirt. We ended up matching with our stone cold country tees. Luckily Audrey came prepared with her gigantic purse, we quickly put all of our merch in her bag. Before going to our seats, we stopped by the concession stand to get drinks.
When we found our seats, the band was doing sound check. I was getting more and more excited at each passing moment. I was excited to see Brantley still had the same band members from all those years ago. I hope they are still the amazing band I remember an haven't let a little fame get to their heads. All I need is to be hanging out with some egotistical jerks. Woah brain, you are getting way ahead of yourself, who knows if they will even remember me. I mean its been ten years, lots of things have happened, except to me. In still the same Harper still in love with my "bad boy."
Brantley's POV
I was getting ready to go on stage when Ben came up to me.
"What's up? You look like you've just seen a ghost." I said to him.
"She's here. Front and center, man." He nervously stated.
"Who's here?"
"Harper."
"Harper? My Harper? Harper Avery Webb?"
"Yes, that Harper."
"Is she here with a guy?"
"Not that I could tell, just some hot blonde."
"Okay." Then our manager yelled that it was show time."
I walked onto the stage and saw her standing there. She looks the same, but more beautiful than the last time I saw her. Before I started the show I winked at her and saw her blush.
Harpers POV
"Did you see that? The BRANTLEY GILBERT just winked at you!" Audrey yelled.
"Yeah." I said nonchalantly.
"Why are you not freaking out?"
"I'll explain later, lets just enjoy the concert, okay?"
"Fine."
The concert had been amazing so far! They have came so far since the last time they were here.
"This next song is dedicated to a gorgeous girl that's here tonight. We were together a long time ago and she put up with a lot of my shit. This next song I wrote for her. I have always loved you baby girl. I've never stopped. Forever and always!" Brantley said into the mic making everyone go crazy. Then he started singing "fall into me"
By the end of the song, I was tearing up. He finished the concert and looked at me, coming over towards me talking to some fans on his way. When he got to me, the theatre was almost empty.
"Harp." He said using on of his many nick names for me.
"B." I said, then he pulled me into a hug, whispering how much he has missed me into my ear.
"I've missed you too." I said when we pulled away.
"Come backstage, I know the boys have missed you too."
"Okay."
"Um, hello?" Audrey said from beside me.
"B this Audrey my best friend. Audrey this is Brantley."
"So this is the blonde Ben was talking about."
"Still a ladies man?"
"Yep."
"Well, I'm going to get in line." Audrey said.
"For what?"
"Your meet and greet."
"You will have a better time backstage with us."
"Okay."
With that we went backstage to hangout with the boys.
A/N. so I am SO so SO so so so so so so sorry for it taking me this long to update. I finally found my notebook and my dog had literally ate half of it. So I had to rewrite it. I've had this ready for a while but just now got the chance to type it up. I have a pretty tough schedule this year for senior year. I have an anatomy class and my Econ teacher gives us a lot of work including essays. I have probably written at least 6 for her this year and we are only on chapter 4. I hope you enjoy this.
