Flashback;

Zae and Kaliyah's dads were club promoters ,they owned one of the most successful businesses in Miami ,they've met everyone you could think of

but you know, once your at the top there is always that one person that wants to tear you down ,that's how Zae's dad was killed,he had just left the club with my dad ,to go home to Zae and summer(Zae's sister) because his wife had to go to work, she had the night shift

he had taken a different route home every night ,because he knew someone would always try to follow him ,but he had got to comfortable and had been off his game lately

as he pulled into his driveway ,still in his car playing on his iphone before he finally killed the engine , his killer shot him six times and killed him instantly

To make matters worse the nest day was Father's Day , as I did my usual call to my dad , he picked up the phone faster than usual we started a conversation but I couldn't help but hear in his voice that he had been crying ,then he told me the news I as dreading to hear "they've killed him" the only thing I could do then was cry

Friday,the wake

As I was approaching the casket I got halfway there and just stopped

It wasn't something I could handle

when I stopped I felt the tears escape my eyes ,to the left of me I saw my best friend angry with just a single tear draping from his eyes ,after all his dad was laying in a casket next to him I was paralyzed to speak .I was just in a daze at the end of the wake I got enough courage to go up to the casket and Zae was a little better I walked to him and told him after the funeral the next day ,I'd go to his house and stay the night he said ,ok ill text you when I leave , I gave him a hug then left with my dads girlfriend while we were driving back to the house Zae texted me
