Ice Age the Meltdown

Ch. 1

                                                                     Hope POV

I was walking with Diego and Manny to see some kids burying Sid alive 

"Hey, hey who said you kids can torture the sloth?" Manny said 

"Manny dont squash their creativity," Diego said 

I chuckled 

"Hey Manny! Diego! Hope! my baby mammal Jammels Wanna give a sloth a hand? look, I opened my camp! Come forth and sit it means camp of Sid" Sid said 

"Congratulations you're now an idiot in two languages," Diego said 

I nodded 

"Shh! Not in front of the K-I-D-Z these little guys love me! Right Billy?" Sid said 

"Don't make me eat you!" The kid said 

"Funny kid that's why they're called kids" Sid said 

"Sid I told you you're not qualified to run a camp" Manny said 

"Oh since when do qualifications have anything to do with childcare.. Besides these kids look up to me I'm a role model to them!" Sid said 

then the kids tie his ankles together and push him 

"I can see that," I said 

"you guys never think i can do anything but I'm an equal member of this herd! and you need to start treating me with some respect!" Sid said hopping away 

"Come on Sid" Manny said 

"Sid we were just kidding," Diego said 

"Hey let's play pin the tail on the mammoth!" A kid said they all cheer

"Sid!!" We all yelled 

I'm relaxed against Diego using him like a pillow 

"And so in the end the little burro reached his mommy, and they lived happily ever after," Manny said 

"Good Job," Diego said 

"Question why does the burro go home? why doesn't he stay with the rabbit?" a kid asked 

"Because he wanted to be with his family," Manny said 

"I think he should go with the girl Burro, that's a better love story," Another kid said 

"Ok, well when you tell your burro story thats what he'll do," Manny said 

"Burro is a demeaning name technically it's called a wild ass," Another kid said 

"Fine the wild ass boy came home to his wild ass mother," Manny said 

everyone laughed including me and Diego 

"See that's why I called it a burrow!" Manny said 

"Could the burro have a grazing problem that would make him more relatable," Another kid said 

"Boring!,"

"its not believable!" 

"Do burrows eat their young?, It's not a very satisfying ending!" 

"Sometimes I throw up!" Another kid said 

"They lived happily ever after you can't get more satisfying than that! one big happy family that's the way its supposed to be!" Manny said 

"Then where's your big happy family?" A kid asked 

Manny froze 

"Then the hungry tiger ate the pesky little kids!"Diego said 

all they kids ran away screaming 

"You okay buddy?" Diego asked 

I ran to manny hopping on his tusk 

"sure why not?" Manny said 

"I just thought you-" Diego said 

I nodded 

"Story times over the end!" Manny said 

"Out of the way! Run for your lives!" Two kids yelled while they ran

"Hey watch it," I said 

"Where's everybody going?" Diego said 

"The world's coming to an end!" The kid said 

"What are you talking about?" Manny said 

"Fast Tony! He says the world's going to flood!" The kid said
