Ice Age the Meltdown

Ch. 7

                                                                 Hope POV

I was sitting on Manny's tusk when I looked up when I saw the opossums were rolling down a steep hill in a log, which was halted by a tree, Ellie on the other hand rolled behind them not being stopped by the tree, 

"No brakes gotta roll! meet ya at the other side!" she yelled over her shoulder, 

"So you really think she's the girl for me?" Manny said 

"Oh yeah, she's tons of fun and you're no fun at all, she completes you," Sid said smiling 

I just shook my head, 

"Hey! Hey Manny!" Crash said climbing in a tree, 

"Can you pull back the tree and shoot me into the pond?" Crash asked 

"No," Manny said 

"Oh come on," Crash said 

"Now how do you expect to impress Ellie with that attitude?" Sid said 

"I don't want to impress her!" Manny said 

"then why are you trying so hard to convince her she's a mammoth?" Sid said 

"Because that's what she is!" Manny said harshly making me jump, 

"I don't care if she thinks she's a opossum you can't be two things," Manny said 

"Oh contraire my friend, tell that to the bullfrog, the chicken hawk, and the turtle dove," Sid said listing them on his fingers 

"He's never gonna let up on you," I said hopping to Manny's other tusk, 

"it'll be easier on all of us if you just go with it," Diego finished Manny groaned and walked up to crash, 

I jumped off his tusk standing next to Eddie,

"So... what do you want me to do?" Manny asked 

"Pull back the tree and shoot me into the pond!" Crash said excitedly scampering up the tree, 

"I don't know," manny said 

I walked next to Diego, 

"Well if you're too lame to do it, we can get Ellie," Crash said casually tricking Manny 

"No no no I can do it," Manny said wrapping his trunk around the tree and pulling it back 

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" Crash said 

"Have you done this before?" manny asked 

"Ha! only about a million times! further further!" Crash said 

Manny pulled the tree all the way to the ground, 

"Perfect Fire!" Crash said 

Manny let go of the tree and sent crash rocketing through the air he flew towards the pond until he hit a tree and fell to the ground, 

"Crash!" Eddie gasped scampering down the hill, 

"Oh no," Manny said as we all made our way down to them 

"What's wrong with you?" Ellie asked 

"He said he could do it," Manny said 

"And... you believed him," She said 

"Crash whatever you do don't go into the light!" Eddie said shaking his limp body, 

"Can I help in anyway here?" Manny asked 

"you've done enough," Ellie said 

"Are you happy now?" Manny said glaring at Sid

Suddenly Crash gasped awake, they both Scamper away

"What can I say? they're boys! they make my life a little adventure!" She chuckled 

"you guys are so dead!" she mumbled
