Chuck's POV
I've been searching for weeks to find a way to cure (Y/N) of being an angel. I've only come up with extracting her grace but that'll kill her. Unless...
"Castiel!" I shout summoning in the angel.
"Yes sir?" He comes waltzing into my office.
"I think I've found a way to fix (Y/N)."
"Really?"
"Yes. We're going to extract her grace."
"But sir that'll kill her and Dean he-"
"Not if you heal her after every bit we extract."
"Are you sure it'll work? Can't you just make Dean an angel?"
"It's not that simple Castiel, Dean isn't dead. (Y/N) was dead when I made her into an angel."
"Still are you sure extracting her grace will work?"
"There's only one way to find out."
****Normal POV****
You and the boys sit in the living room watching a movie, having arrived back to the bunker from Indiana just a few hours earlier. Your eyes were glued to the tv when Cas and Chuck appeared.
"Oh hey guys what's up?" Dean asks as he sits up.
"We come for (Y/N)." Cas states blankly.
"What Castiel is trying to say is we think we've found to fix (Y/N)." Chuck clarifies.
"Really?" You look up at Chuck intrigued.
"Yes. We're going to try and extract your grace."
Before you have a chance to speak Dean interrupts, "Wait a minute won't that kill her?"
"I'll do it." You state shocking everyone.
"But (Y/N) you'll die. And I'll lose you again. I can't lose you again please babe don't do this." Dean stares at you.
Chuck clears his throat signaling he's going to speak, "We think we've found a way around her dying."
"How?" You and Dean asks together.
"Castiel will heal you after every extraction we make. Thereby, hopefully, healing your body from the damage done when you died and the damage the grace might do."
"Okay. I'll do it." You begin to stand up but Dean stops you.
"No. (Y/N) I'm not risking your life on a chance that it might work."
"Dean you have to let me do this. What if it works? We could begin a real life without the chance of me out living you. Please Dean."
Dean looks back and forth from you and Chuck. "Fine but if anything happens to her I'm going to be ticked."
"Fair enough. Let's go (Y/N)."
You follow Cas and Chuck into the dungeon and sit down in the chair placed in the middle of the devils trap. Cas comes to stand next you. He grabs your shoulder and gives you a reassuring nod.
"Shall we begin?" Chuck asks turning around with a knife and bottle in his hands.
Giving him a small nod, Chuck slides the knife along your neck and you feel the grace leave your body. Once the bottle is filled with your grace you feel very faint.
"Okay now this is the part that will actually hurt. There's still some grace left in your body that we will need to extract. Cas heal her and we'll begin."
Cas heals you and Chuck begins the extraction. You scream in pain as the grace is sucked out of your body. The extraction and healing proceeds and you continue your shouts. Little did you know, Dean was outside the door with tears streaming down his face.
When Chuck pulls the second and last syringe out of your neck your screams go silence and you fall limp. Cas heals you one last time and steps away.
"Do you think she'll be okay?" The angel questions Chuck.
"No way of telling until she wakes up." Chuck wheels the cart with your grace off to the side and exits the room.
"How is she?" Dean begs Chuck for information.
"I did all I could."
Dean walks into he dungeon to see your limp body and Cas standing there with concern written all over his face. Anger courses through Dean's body as he grabs his best friend and slams him into the wall.
"What did you do to her?!" Dean shouts at the angel.
"I was following orders Dean." Cas replies calmly.
Dean lets go of Cas and looks up at him with tears in his eyes.
"Will she be okay?" Dean's asks as his voice cracks.
"I don't know. I'm sorry Dean. It's hard to say right now."
Dean doesn't say anything as Castiel leaves the room. Dean walks towards you and carefully lifts your body. His mind flash backs to when he carried your dead body all the way to impala where your body laid for the last time. Tears fall down Dean's face as he remembers that horrific time.
At least she's breathing this time. Dean reassures himself. Finally reaching yours and Dean's room, Dean lays you gently onto the bed and pulls up a chair and sits down next to the bed where he sits for the next 3 days waiting and praying for you wake up.
3 days pass and you still didn't show any signs of life. Maya had showed up when she had heard the news. Now she, Cas, Sam, and Chuck all gathered in the library waiting for you and Dean to show up.
"Any updates?" Maya breaks the silence.
"No Dean hasn't come out ever since he carried her in there. He says nothing has changed." Sam replies with a sigh.
"I'm really sorry Sam. To both and Dean I had no idea this would happen." Chuck apologizes
"It's okay Chuck. I think Dean is just glad she's at least breathing, but then again is a coma really any better?"
The room falls silent once again, unaware to what's happening in your room.
Your body begins to move after 3 days of being in the same position. Your eyes open only seeing the ceiling.
"Dean?" You speak but your voice is all scratchy.
"I'm here babe." He hands you a glass of water and you take it gracefully. Dean helps you sit up before you speak again.
"Boy did I need that nap. Now that I got a couple of hours I'm ready for the day."
"(Y/N) you've been in a coma for 3 days."
"What? What happened?"
"You don't remember?"
"I remember Cas and Chuck saying that they were going to fix me then the rest is a blur."
"Well they did fix you, you're human now. But I guess the treatment wore you out so much that you just passed out."
"Oh."
"But everyone is waiting in the library for you."
You and Dean leave the room that had become a prison cell for 3 days and begin the journey to the library.
Upon arrival you are bombarded with hugs and questions.
"Are you okay?" Everyone asked
"Guys I'm fine. I feel great. No thanks to Cas and Chuck." You walk over to them and wrap your arms around them both. "Thank you guys. For helping to my able to begin a real life with Dean. And thanks for everything." Cas and Chuck hug you back and reply with a you're welcome. Released from the group hug with Cas and Chuck you walk over to Maya.
"Hey." She whispers
"Hi."
"So you're human now."
"Yeah guess so. But Maya?"
"Yeah?"
"Please don't let this ruin our friendship. I'm so grateful for you and for the opportunity to be an angel."
"Please if you think that you being human will ruin our friendship you're mistaken. You've become my best friend nothing can change that."
"Thanks Maya. I wanted to a question."
"Shoot."
"Will you be maid of honor?"
"Are you kidding?! I'd love to! I never thought you'd ask!"
The two of you hug. Once you guys separate you look around the room at some of your closest friends. You walk over to Dean and grab to his hand. The two of you stand hand and hand deciding what happens next.
"So what happens now?" Dean questions you
"We start planning our wedding and begin our lives."
Dean turns and gives you a quick kiss and leads you towards the table to join the others.

***Authors Note***
And that's the end. I really enjoyed writing this story and I'm sad to see it end. I might write an epilogue for the reader and Dean's wedding, I don't know yet. But anyways I really hope y'all enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed writing it. Leave me a comment telling what you thought or if I should go back and edit some of the chapters.
As Always,
Stay Fabulous! Peace! ✌️
