6.) Whammied

"So you said Bivolo whammied you and you have no desire to going to go all MMA on us?"
Velicity asks in the check up room. You all sit around the room unsure of what to do.

"No," Barry turns to glances at everyone. "Yeah, I mean something weird happened with his eyes for a sec,"

"Weird thing?"

"Yeah, everything went red,"

"You were right," Velicity and Caitlyn shared a look.

"And next thing I knew Bivolo was gone. Look, obviously his powers didn't work on me so.."

"It was stupid for you to go out there alone," Caitlyn follows him out of the room. You give Velicity an awkward glance following there little argument. "You take too many risks and as fast as you are, that's going to catch up to you."

"Look, Caitlyn," Barry turns around annoyed, "I'm not Ronnie you gotta stop treating me like I am."

Ouch. You think to yourself.

"Your right, your not."

Barry finally glances up seeing you and Velicity in the door way with shocked expressions.

"What!"

"Barry that was harsh," you tell him.

"Oh my god Y/N, just shut your mouth for once, I don't need your stupid opinion right now," he spits out at you.

"I.." tears water up in your eyes, and without another word you turn on your heel and run out of the room.

You run to your lab sitting in your chair with your sketch pad in your lap. You throw it across the room not even in the mood to draw furiously wiping your eyes from its tears.

"Everything okay Y/N?" You could heat Dr. Wells rolling in but your back was toward him.

"Uh yeah, I'm fine, just frustrated I guess. This freak dude, I think he messed with Barry, or maybe my opinion is stupid and apparently I don't know when to shut up." You run a hand through your hair.

"I don't think your too opinionated, your a scientist, it's what you do, observe, ask questions, that all I do now so I must be really annoying then."

"Yeah, but your the famous Harrison Wells, it's different."

"There is no difference Y/N, your are incredibly smart and intelligent as any person who worked for me. As smart as Hartley. You were smart enough to figure him out. So your smart enough to figure this out. I believe in you."

A small smile grows on your face.

"Thank you, Dr wells, it means a lot to hear you say that."

"Well your welcome, now how about we go fix Barry."

You guys both head back to the cortex to see Caitlyn, Cisco, and Velicity on the phone there already.

"You good there Y/N? Look like you've been crying."

"Uh I'm fine now actually, thanks for asking," you take a seat next to Cisco on the computer.

"That was the arrow, says that Barry is acting strange,"

"Strange how?"

"He's been Whammied." Joe walks in very serious and nervous looking. "He was acting angry and it was scary, and his eyes..they glowed."

"It's..possible that his body is fighting off the effects so it's hitting him slower." You say rubbing your chin.
