"Yo," was the first thing seungmin said when he answered Jeongin's phone call, "Wassup? How're you holding up?"

Jeongin rolled his eyes, knowing that even though the phone Seungmin could probably already imagine him doing so, "Besides the fact that I've been forced to miss school for the 'traumatic' experiences I've gone through, not that good. My grandma won't even let me open a packet of crisps in fear of me choking myself."

"Pfft, guess you'll just have to get used to it. Felix misses you."

The younger boy sputtered on his orange juice, looking around for his Grandma to see if she had witnessed him nearly dying, before angrily saying; "Kim Seungmin!" into the phone.

Seungmin only laughed, teasingly adding, "Yeah, he kept asking if you were alright and to make sure you were eating properly. Mans whipped."

"Or he's got a hero-complex." Jeongin muttered, chest feeling tight all of a sudden.

He had tried to avoid that certain realisation, pushing it into the back of his mind along with his Grandma's ludicrous superstitions. But it was so difficult to not care that his crush was spiderman, the same spiderman who he teased relentlessly and flew across town with;

The same spiderman who was risking his life.

It seemed that with every passing day, the public began to love spiderman more and more. Everytime Jeongin scrolled through his Twitter feed he was met with dozens of videos of Spiderman- no- Felix swinging around Seoul, catching bad guys.

Not to mention that the other day, he stopped a train with his bare hands.

Jeongin had cried when he found out, instantly calling Hyunjin to ask if Felix was alright. Hyunjin was confused at the sudden question, but answered that the boy was fine and was at swimming practise with the rest of them.

Which was another problem, no one else knew. It was heartbreaking to watch Felix hurt himself, while no one else cared.

Jeongin could faintly understand Seungmin's tangent about feminism, before he felt a mix of discomfort and annoyance towards the reckless teenager polluting his mind.

"Seungmin," he started, the other boy instantly humming in response, "Do you think...you could give me Felix's number?"

Silence, before-

"HOLY FUCKING CHRIST JEONGIN IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING I'M SO PROUD OF YOU-"

"Hello?" A deep and husky voice said on the other line, and instantly Jeongin wanted to throw himself down the stairs.

He took a deep breath in, "Uh Hi? Felix?"

"Wait- shit- uh- Jeongin?"

Warmth spread across his chest at the incoherent mess of words, and Jeongin questioned why he didn't see Spiderman's clumsy attitude in Felix's personality before hand. "Yeah it's me, how'd you know?"

"I uh- recognised your voice." He muttered hesitantly, and Jeongin felt the heat move up to his face, "Anyways, how are you? I miss- we miss you! The team. The team misses you."
