You exhale deeply as you sat down at the small table. Opening your bag you picked out all the important documents and lay them on the desk in front of you. It was your first day working at a new job and this new job just so happened to be at the Armed Detective Agency. You were hired as a casual office worker who would deal with simple day to day tasks to take some of the pressure off the detectives.

You had only been here a couple of minutes and already felt settled in due to the comfortable, laid back atmosphere until the door next to you swung open with a loud bang revealing a very unpleased looking man. He wore smart glasses, had blonde hair which was kept in a ponytail and carried some sort of book under his arm.

" Its 8am exactly and I don't see any work being done !" He yelled in a booming voice. " As a serious organization we must start as early as possible in order to complete today's tasks on time. If not my ideals would be totally out of order and..."

" Heyyyyy Kunikuda don't you think you're being too loud for a Monday morning? Look you scared our new employee"

Looking across the room you saw a tall brown haired man leaning against the window with a very lazy expression. The angry ponytailed mans name was Kunikuda as you just learned. You wouldn't say you were scared but the sudden burst of energy into the room had startled you a bit. Looking back at the brown haired man he was slowly stalking his was towards your desk which allowed you to get a better look at his face.

He was quite handsome and his little curls dangled just above his deep brown eyes creating and inviting and calming look. Reaching your table the man bent down on one knee and took one of your hands in his. Gazing deep into your eyes you swear it was getting hotter in here.

"See look at her cute face she's practically trembling" he said giving you a small smirk.

"I think you're the one making her tremble Dazai. Now leave her alone so that she may start today's tasks" Kunikuda said as he stormed off.

"Don't mind him you'll get used to it, he's not as bad as he seems. He just has a little stick up his ass"

"OI DAZAI I heard that" the angered man yelled from across the room

Taken back by Dazais remark you couldn't help but giggle in response earning another smirk from him.
Still holding your hand he leaned his face closer.

"You've got a really cute laugh you know"

You began to blush at his silly remark. " um thank you uh you're cute too" you said quickly
Dazai's eyes widened just as you realized what you had said. Cursing yourself you attempted to make the situation better.

"Oh NO I didn't mean I was just.....you caught me off guard so I....it's not that"
Dazai began to laugh tears forming in the corners of his eyes. He opened them to gaze at you once more.

"Wow you're even cuter when you get all flustered. What's your name" he said still stifling his giggles.
As red as a tomato now you averted your gaze but answered anyway.

"My name...my name is Y/n"

"Well Y/n I hope we get to see a lot more of each other soon" Dazai smiled standing up still holding your hand in his.
"I better get to work before Kunikuda goes on his rant again. I'll talk to you soon Y/n"

Letting go of your hand Dazai began to stroll away. His warmth leaving you created a feeling of sadness but you quickly shook it off.

"Oh and just one more thing" Dazai spun around to say.
"When we get to know each other a bit better maybe we can partake in a double suicide together" he chirped spinning around again to return to his seat.

.......a double what now
