Your POV
I slowly opened my eyes when there was a knocking at the door. I pulled the blanket further up my body, going to turn over when something stopped me.
I looked down to see a bundle of brunette hair sprawled across the sheet and two arms wrapped around my body.
I guess Camila liked to cuddle.
I rolled my eyes when the knocking returned, peeling Camila's arms off of my body slowly and getting out of bed to open the door.
"Camila- oh, hey," he said when I opened the door. "Is Camila awake?"
"No," I said, rubbing the tiredness out of my eyes.
"Oh, well I'm about to leave and wanted to let her know," he said.
I don't know what he expected me to do about that.
"Were you going to be leaving soon, too?" He asked.
I furrowed my eyebrows at the boy.
Why was he wondering when I was going to be leaving?
"What?" I asked.
"Never mind. Can I see Camila?"
"Whatever," I said, keeping my responses short as I stepped to the side to let the boy in.
I watched as he walked through the room and stopped at the bed, shaking the girl lightly to wake her up.
"Cam," he said, easing the girl out of her sleepy state.
"Hmmm?" She hummed in response as her hands felt around the sheets.
She squinted her eyes when she didn't seem to find whatever she was looking for.
"Y/n?" She said, almost making me choke.
She sat up, looking around the room frantically before her eyes landed on me and she let out a breath.
"Oh my God. You scared me," she said, waving for me to come over from where I was standing.
Shawn didn't seem amused at all about what just happened, and honestly the look on his face made me want to laugh.
I walked over to Camila, sitting down next to her on the bed. She rested a hand on my shoulder as she turned back to look at Shawn.
"You needed something?" She asked the brown haired boy.
"Yea, I just wanted to let you know I was leaving," he almost mumbled.
"Oh, okay," she said lightly.
"Okay?" He asked.
"I'll see you," she smiled lightly, leaning over and giving the boy a little hug.
"Bye, Shawn," I told him, almost smirking when his eyes shot to me.
"Uh... bye," he said, turning and walking out of the room.
"Don't do that again," Camila said when it was once again just the two of us.
"Do what?" I asked, genuinely confused.
"Scare me," she said as if it was obvious. "I thought you left."
"Oh," I said, smiling lightly. "I won't."
I don't know why, but I felt like this girl actually cared about me.
"You don't have anything to do today, right?" She asked carefully.
"Um... no. I don't have anything," I said.
"Good, because I need to take you shopping," she said.
"Shopping?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"Duh," she said as she stood up. "Then we can go back to my place."
"You live around here?" I asked her.
She looked at me and seemed to be studying my eyes again to see if I was being serious.
"I live about thirty minutes away. I booked this room because I went to a party last night and it was right down the road. I figured I'd be getting out late and I didn't want to drive home at one in the morning," she explained.
"Gotcha," I nodded.
"Just get ready to go, goofball," she said with a laugh.
